Just before the incident, on Jonathan's Twitter he posted,
"It is a far better thing that I do now than I have ever done before #splat."

Let's not forgot how serious the origin of this meeting was though......

News Corp. is the world's second-largest media conglomerate (behind The Walt Disney Company) and owns just about every media outlet you can think of.

Rupert Murdoch is the Chairman and CEO of News Corp, which is accused of hacking into people's phones for news purposes. An investigation is under way and that was the purpose of the pie interrupted meeting.

News Corp. was outed by a former employee named, Sean Hoare, who suspiciously died just days ago. Which for some reason no one seems to be talking about.......

News Corp Phone-Hacking Whistler Blower Found Dead!!

This guy Hoare blew the lid off the whole News Corp scandal and now he's found dead?

Sean Hoare, the former News of the World showbiz reporter who was the first named journalist to allege Andy Coulson was aware of phone hacking by his staff, has been found dead.

Hoare, who worked on the Sun and the News of the World with Coulson before being dismissed for drink and drugs problems, is said to have been found dead at his Watford home.

Hertfordshire police would not confirm his identity, but the force said in a statement:
“At 10.40am today [Monday 18 July] police were called to Langley Road, Watford, following the concerns for the welfare of a man who lives at an address on the street. Upon police and ambulance arrival at a property, the body of a man was found. The man was pronounced dead at the scene shortly after.

“The death is currently being treated as unexplained, but not thought to be suspicious. Police investigations into this incident are ongoing.”
Hoare is the man who spoke to the BBC, claiming that Andy Coulson, personally asked him to tap into phones and saying that Coulson’s claim that he was unaware of the practice was
“a lie, it is simply a lie”.

Rupert Murdoch, featured above, is the Chairman and CEO of News of the World aka News Corp and Andy Coulson was their editor from 2003 until his resignation in 2007, following the conviction of one of the newspaper's reporters in relation to illegal phone-hacking.

Hoare spoke to the New York Times again last week, explaining how reporters at the News of the World were able to use police technology to locate people using their mobile phone signals in exchange for payments to police officers.

He said journalists were able to use a technique called “pinging” which measured the distance between mobile handsets and a number of phone masts to pinpoint its location.

Hoare gave further details about the use of “pinging” to the Guardian last week. He described how reporters would ask a news desk executive to obtain the location of a target:
“Within 15 to 30 minutes someone on the news desk would come back and say ‘right that’s where they are.’”

He said:
“You’d just go to the news desk and they’d just come back to you. You don’t ask any questions. You’d consider it a job done. The chain of command is one of absolute discipline and that’s why I never bought into it, like with Andy saying he wasn’t aware of it and all that. That’s bollocks.”

He said he would stand by everything he had told the New York Times about “pinging”.
“I don’t know how often it happened. That would be wrong of me. But if I had access as a humble reporter … “

He admitted he had had problems with drink and drugs and had been in rehab.
“But that’s irrelevant,”
he said.
“There’s more to come. This is not going to go away.”
Hoare named a private investigator who he said had links with the News of the World, adding:
“He may want to talk now because I think what you’ll find now is a lot of people are going to want to cover their arse.”

Speaking to another Guardian journalist last week, Hoare repeatedly expressed the hope that the hacking scandal would lead to journalism in general being cleaned up and said he had decided to blow the whistle on the activities of some of his former News of the World colleagues with that aim in mind.

He also said he had been injured the previous weekend while taking down a marquee erected for a children’s party. He said he had broken his nose and badly injured his foot when a relative accidentally struck him with a heavy pole from the marquee.

Hoare also emphasized that he was not making any money from telling his story.

WOW...................and just days after blowing the whistle AGAIN, Sean Hoare is dead.

Rest in peace, thank you for the info.

So what do we do as citizens? Where is all of our privacy going?

The police say Hoare's death is not suspicious...but remember the police were IN on the phone hacking too! Most would agree this death is very suspect.

WTF?! Presidential Candidate Michelle Bachmann Trying To "Convert Gays" At Her Christian Center -- Caught On Video!

Most people say they were born gay....and this presidential candidate says she can convert you back!................What?!

Offensive enough for you?

Presidential Candidate Michele Bachmann and her husband allegedly own a Christian counseling center engaging in a discredited therapy designed to convert gays to straights through prayer and self-reflection. Leading mental health experts today are strongly condemning this!
"This is so far outside the mainstream it's practically on Mars,"
said Dr. Jack Drescher, a psychiatrist who has written extensively on the practice of gay conversions.

Marcus Bachmann had denied the family's suburban Minneapolis treatment centers employed so-called reparative therapy in a newspaper interview five years ago, but ABC News reported Monday on the experience of a former patient, and on an undercover operation mounted by gay rights advocates. Both provided evidence that practice is occurring there.

The
"path for my therapy would be to read the Bible, pray to God that I would no longer be gay,"
said Andrew Ramirez, who was 17 years old at the time he sought help from Bachmann & Associates in suburban Minneapolis.
"And God would forgive me if I were straight."

Police Can Now Search Our Cell Phones Without A Warrant????

Where did our privacy go?

According to reports, more states are beginning to favor the optionOF being able to search an arrestee’s cell phone...and what's even worse is they are favoring to do it WITHOUT a warrant!

There have been an increasing number of incidents to demonstrate the growing popularity of this policy. For instance, in California, it became legal in January for police to search an arrestee’s cell phone without a warrant; in Florida, an appellate court decision upheld warrantless cell phone searches, defining the phone as a kind of “container;” and in Georgia, there was an appellate court decision to uphold a warrantless search of a cell phone found in an arrestee’s car.

I know you saying to yourself, "What about my privacy?"

Well, Civil rights advocates are fighting back. Catherine Crump of the American Civil Liberties Union says,
“the police can ask you to unlock the phone—which many people will do—but they almost certainly cannot compel you to unlock your phone without the involvement of a judge.”

.....and what if you don't have a cell phone on you?

How do you feel about this?

Arnold Schwarzenegger's Secret Child & Baby Momma Reveals Herself & Gives Details Of Affair! (PHOTOS)!

Meet Patricia Mildred Baena, the 50-year-old former housekeeper who is baby momma of Arnold Schwarzenegger's secret 10 year old child!

No more than 24 hours after we reported that Arnold had a secret child from an affair with his housekeeper from 10 years ago....Patricia Baena, the baby momma, has revealed herself and her child and she is cashing in on her story.

She says she was a housekeeper/assistant for the family for more than 20 years. Her jobs included cleaning, laundry, cooking and other chores.

The word on the streets is that Patricia Baena pulled a "Single White Female" on Arnold's wife Maria, as she used Maria's clothes, jewelry and even her man when not around. Sources say in the late ’90s Patty began to “pursue Arnold.” She told friends they would have unprotected sex during the day at the house. Patty never slept overnight at the house and no one ever caught them in the act.

“Maria has suspected this for a long time and she asked the housekeeper,”
a source close to the situation said.
“The housekeeper admitted it. Maria then went to Arnold and he confessed.”
He didn’t volunteer the information, and it could have remained a secret if Maria hadn’t asked.

We’re told when Patty became pregnant, she didn’t tell Arnold he was the father. Arnold didn’t learn he was the daddy until the boy was a toddler.

Patty — who made $1,200 a week — was treated well by Arnold once he found out. Sources say Arnold was always “generous.”

Patty — who has recently retired — now lives in a 4 bedroom house with a pool, several hours outside of L.A. with the boy and her 3 other kids.

We're told the Christmas photo above was taken inside Arnold's house around the year 2000.

The child in the photo is Christopher Schwarzenegger. This was all right around the time Arnold learned he fathered Patty's child, who was born a week after Christopher.

Here she is prego with her own child with Arnold.

The picture above, featuring the two dancing in front of a live mariachi band, was shot back in November 1994 ... around the same time "True Lies" and "Junior" came out in theaters. Just saying.

Arnold Schwarzenegger & Wife Split Over Secret 10yr Old Child!

When it was announced last week that the former California governor, Arnold Schwarzenegger, and his wife split, it was kind of sudden...but not for Arnold!

He’s one of the most famous people on the planet, a two-term governor of California, a movie star and a former world champion bodybuilder...

Yet somehow, for more than a decade, Arnold Schwarzenegger managed to keep an incredible secret from the public and his wife, prominent former TV journalist and Kennedy heiress Maria Shriver: that he fathered a child with a woman on his household staff more than a decade ago.

The revelation came Tuesday, just a week after we reported that Arnold and Maria announced they had separated.

“I understand and deserve the feelings of anger and disappointment among my friends and family,”
Schwarzenegger wrote in a statement. “
There are no excuses and I take full responsibility for the hurt I have caused. I have apologized to Maria, my children and my family. I am truly sorry.”

Hours later, Shriver also released a statement:
“This is a painful and heartbreaking time. As a mother, my concern is for the children. I ask for compassion, respect and privacy as my children and I try to rebuild our lives and heal. I will have no further comment.”

Two of their four children posted on Twitter, expressing their love for their family.

"Some days you feel like s---, some days you want to quit and just be normal for a bit,”
tweeted 17-year-old Patrick Schwarzenegger, quoting the band Fort Minor’s heartbreak song “Where’d You Go.” Adding his own words, he said,
“Yet I love my family till death do us apart.”

His 21-year-old sister, Katherine Schwarzenegger, followed later in the day.
“This is definitely not easy but I appreciate your love and support as i begin to heal and move forward in life,”
she said.
“I will always love my family!”

"TWEET OF THE WEEK" - Rapper Common Vs. Sarah Palin

This Wednesday, May 11, rapper Common caused a lot of controversy performing poetry at the White House.

Common tweeted on Wednesday,
"OWW!..my bad, that was me pinching myself after last night. I had an unbelievable time at the White House!"
He may have been happy but, Presidential hopeful Sarah Palin was not and stirred up all the drama when she got on Twitter and wrote,

"Oh, lovely, White House."

Referring to Common's performance, then she appeared Fox News soon after bashing him and the White House saying,
"The White House's judgment on invited someone who gloried cop killing during police memorial week of all times....it's just so lacking of class and decency."
Palin then got sarcastic and went on to say that she is not "anti-rap," because she liked Fox News anchor Brett Baier's performance of "Rapper's Delight."
"I am obviously a proponent of free speech... I'm not anti-rap. In fact, like Bret Baier, I know the lyrics to 'Rapper's Delight,' too....But I am saying just common decency in the White House -- wouldn't we like to see a reflection of all that is wonderful and great, a shining city on a hill that the White House is supposed to be, with events inside of that house that reflects the patriotism and the decency and the influence of America."
Common got on Twitter again but this time to tweet CNN reporter, CNN Roland Martin and wrote simply,

"So apparently Sarah Palin and Fox News doesn't like me."

Arnold Schwarzenegger & His Wife Call It Quits After 25 Yrs

After 25 years of marriage and four children together, Former Governor of California Arnold Schwarzenegger and his wife, Maria Shriver announced their official separation.

The two released a statement saying,

"This has been a time of great personal and professional transition for each of us, after a great deal of thought, reflection, discussion and prayer, we came to this decision together. At this time, we are living apart while we work on the future of our relationship."

The two plan to raise their children together amicably and asked the public to respect their privacy at this time. We are not sure exactly sparked the split but this isn’t the first time scandal has made it into their lives. In 2003, there were rumors that Schwarzenegger had reportedly groped a few women while he was running for office.

Former Male Employee & Radio Host Says Rev. Jessie Jackson Made Him Do Sexual Tasks Then FIRED Him

A former gay employee of the Rainbow PUSH Coalition has filed a shocking complaint against Rev Jesse Jackson Sr, and the PUSH organization claiming that he was made to do sexually demoralizing acts and was fired based on his sexual orientation.

Tommy Bennett filed the lengthy complaint with the City of Chicago Commission on Human Relations.

In the complaint, Bennett who was employed by the Rainbow Coalition from 2007 – 2009, alleges that he was discriminated against shortly after taking the position by workers who refused to work with him based on his sexual orientation.

The most scandalous charges center around Rev. Jackson, who Bennett claims made him complete “humiliating” tasks while working as Jackson's travel assistant, such as escorting women to and from the minister's hotel and cleaning up bodily fluids by “cleaning up his room after sexual intercourse."

Bennett who moonlighted as “Aruba Tommy” on The Tom Joyner Morning Show goes on to claim he was once instructed to rub an ointment between Jackson's legs because he “had a rash between his legs.”

Bennett says he refused and was degraded by Jackson and called a “little motherf*cker.”

The complaint also mentions an incident where Bennett claims he was summoned to Jackson's hotel room at 1a.m. to take notes. The complaint reads,
“When Mr. Bennett arrived, Rev. Jackson was dressed only in his briefs and a v-neck t-shirt.”

Bennett claims Jackson was sexually aroused.

Bennett finally claims the he was terminated in 2009 “due to lack of funding” but says many others were hired after he was let go.

Bennett is seeking back pay and loss of wages totaling $98,300 and $350,000 for emotional stress and punitive damage. He also seeks to have PUSH's non-discrimination policy to include sexual orientation and gender identity.

Jackson recently denied the claims through PUSH spokeswoman Lauren Love in a written statement which reads,

“The Rainbow PUSH Coalition and Rev. Jesse Jackson Sr., unequivocally deny Tommy Bennett's false claims of harassment, retaliation and discrimination. We are fully cooperating with the Chicago Commission on Human Relations and expect to be fully exonerated.”

Beyonce, Usher, Mariah & More Paid Millions To Perform For Gaddafi Family (VIDEO)

Last year, we reported that Beyonce was paid 2 Million to perform at party hosted by Muatsim--Billah Gaddafi, who is a family member of those who support terrorist acts. According to documents obtained by WikiLeaks, several other of the hottest pop stars in the world such as Usher and Mariah Carey were paid extravagant amounts to perform for members of Moammar Gaddafi's family as well.

Gaddafi's son, Muatassim, Libya's national security adviser, hired Beyoncé and Usher to perform at his New Year's Eve party in St. Barts. Gaddafi's other son, Seif al-Islam el-Gaddafi, allegedly paid singer Mariah Carey $1-million to sing four songs at last year's New Year's part in St. Barts.

Reports say that the United States welcomed Gaddafi's regime during the Bush administration as an ally in the war on terrorism, these pop stars are being criticized for accepting money from a violent and oppressive regime.

It is not uncommon for pop stars to be hired to perform at private events, but it could be argued that performing for the Gaddafi family and taking their money could be construed as condoning the family's actions and politics.

Terrorists performance or not, it's still 2 MILLION DOLLARS.......right?

If you could, would you have done the same as Beyonce and take the money?

CBS News' Lara Logan Violently Attacked & Sexually Assaulted In Egypt

CBS News journalist Lara Logan is recovering in hospital this week after being violently attacked and sexually assaulted by a mob in Egypt's Tahrir Square on Friday, according to a statement by CBS.

Amid the celebrations on the night of Hosni Mubarak's resignation, Logan was reporting on the scenes in Tahrir Square for the news programme 60 Minutes when the South African-born journalist, her camera crew and security staff were overwhelmed by what the US television network described as
"a dangerous element ... a mob of more than 200 people whipped into frenzy".

"In the crush of the mob, she was separated from her crew. She was surrounded and suffered a brutal and sustained sexual assault and beating before being saved by a group of women and an estimated 20 Egyptian soldiers,"
CBS said in its statement released on Tuesday evening.

"She reconnected with the CBS team, returned to her hotel and returned to the United States on the first flight the next morning. She is currently in the hospital recovering."

Logan joined CBS in 2002, after a television news career that included a spell at GMTV covering the invasion of Afghanistan in 2001, and is a veteran of reporting from warzones including Iraq and Kosovo.

CBS's chief foreign affairs correspondent, Logan had previously been detained by the Egyptian military for a day, as part of the Mubarak regime's crackdown on foreign journalists.

Logan serves on the board of the Committee to Protect Journalists, which documented 140 attacks on journalists in Egypt during the protests this month.

"We have seen Lara's compassion at work while helping journalists who have faced brutal aggression while doing their jobs. She is a brilliant, courageous and committed reporter. Our thoughts are with Lara as she recovers,"
said Paul Steiger, chairman of the committee.

CBS said it will make no further comment.
"Logan and her family respectfully request privacy at this time,"
the network said in its statement.

Egypt Free!! ... But Is It Really? (VIDEO)

Cairo, Egypt (CNN) — Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak stepped down Friday and handed over power to the military, his nearly three decades of iron rule ended by a groundswell of popular protests that began January 25.

In a somber, one-minute announcement on state television, Vice President Omar Suleiman announced Mubarak’s resignation and said the Supreme Council of the Armed Forces will “run the affairs of the country.”

As Suleiman spoke, deafening cheers erupted among tens of thousands of Egyptians who thronged the streets of Cairo. It was a moment they had sought throughout long, often tense days of demonstrations — some of them violent — that demanded Mubarak’s departure.

It was also a moment that many in the Arab world’s powerhouse nation had not dared contemplate.

Chants of “Egypt is free!” and “God is great!” rose from the crowds, dizzy in the honeymoon of their success. Some waved Egyptian flags; others honked horns; still others set off fireworks as they savored the scene.

Two major bridges over the Nile River resembled congested parking lots, and partiers packed streets throughout Cairo. The state-run Middle East News Agency said some people had passed out from joy and others had suffered heart attacks.

“It was a sense of liberation for me, for every Egyptian,”
said opposition leader Mohamed ElBaradei.
“For the first time, Egypt has a chance to be democratic, to be free, to have a sense of dignity, of freedom. So it’s amazing. It’s just like something we never experienced in our lifetime.”

Human Rights Watch has documented more than 300 deaths since the uprising began January 25. Many of the pitched battles between security forces and Mubarak's foes unfolded in the same places that were scenes of jubilation Friday night.

But Friday's revelry could not push aside the looming uncertainty over what will come next in the Arab world's most populous nation and how Egypt's revolution, which succeeded on the 32nd anniversary of Iran's, might affect the region.

Events in Egypt may extendfar beyond the country's borders, Moussa said.
"Winds of change are sweeping the Arab world and the Middle East,"
he said.

In Washington, U.S. President Barack Obama said the people of this key U.S. ally have made it clear that
"nothing less than genuine democracy will carry the day."

He praised the Egyptian military for acting responsibly and said it now needs to help ensure a credible transition.

Among other things, Egyptian authorities need to set about
"protecting the rights of Egypt's citizens, lifting the emergency law, revising the constitution and other laws to make this change irreversible, and laying out a clear path to elections that are fair and free,"
Obama said.

Amnesty International warned that Mubarak's departure did not mean an end to the police state.

"The repressive system that Egyptians have suffered under for three decades has not gone away and the state of emergency remains in place,"
said Salil Shetty, Amnesty International's secretary general.
"Those in power must grasp this opportunity to consign the systematic abuses of the past to history. Human rights reform must begin now."

They say it could take 7 months before state-of-emergency laws can be lifted.

It's Official: Luther Campbell To Run For Mayor

MIAMI - It's official: Luther Campbell confirmed to CBS4 Wednesday that he plans to run for Miami-Dade County mayor promising transparency, if elected.

In an extensive interview with the Miami New Times, Campbell spells out his platform as he looks to unseat Mayor Carlos Alvarez who is facing a recall election on March 15th.
When asked why he's running, Campbell told the weekly publication that he's "mad frustrated, I get in my car, ride around Liberty City, and everything looks the same as when I was in the neighborhood growing up. I see the same crimes in the same areas. Officers and residents are still getting killed in the community I grew up in. I go to a city like Atlanta that has sensible affordable housing, and no one is being murdered. I go to Miami International Airport and see the same construction that has been going on for like a hundred years. All of that frustrates the hell out of me. Why aren't we getting it right in Miami-Dade? Why is our government only serving one set of people? That's what is pushing me to run." In the question-and-answer forum, Campbell attacked Alvarez saying he "hasn't created any new jobs, yet we keep these government employees who have been around for decades and aren't doing anything"
He also advocates rebuilding the James E. Scott housing projects that were torn down several years ago and have not been replaced.

"We need to build gated communities with security-guard entrances in the inner city"
Campbell told the New Times.
"Then people would feel just as safe as those wealthier folks who live in Fisher Island and the Kendall suburbs."

He also pushes for a plan that would include taxing exotic dancers.

"I think we can stimulate the economy with a tax on strippers"
Campbell said.
"They make all this money and don't pay taxes. I'd take that cash and put it into a fund where it supports youth athletics for girls like cheerleading or softball."

Campbell promises to run a grassroots campaign and wants to go after voters who are registered to vote, but lack motivation.

"I am going after everybody from 18 to 50 years old. It will be just like music marketing. Fun. We will be having campaign parties before the election to get people motivated, get them behind something historical"
Campbell said.

Campbell's history in South Florida runs deep. Two decades ago, Broward authorities tried to ban his album "As Nasty As They Wanna Be" on state obscenity charges. A jury acquitted Campbell of the charges in Broward Circuit Court.

Before he decided to run, Campbell had said that his past won't be a problem "I have no problem addressing the many controversies that have been a part of my life. I will have no problem answering questions about the negative side of my life. I look forward to my opponents digging up every wrong thing I have done."

Egypt's Internet Blackout Cost Economy 90Mil! Congress Looking To Pass Same Bill In United States!! (VIDEO)

On Wednesday, Egypt appeared to be back on the Internet. The country started going dark last Thursday when President Hosni Mubarak's government ordered that all forms of mass communication, including Internet access, mobile networks, and SMS, be blocked. By Friday, even the country's stock exchange was offline.

But on Wednesday, the Internet blackout ended.
"This represents a new Internet milestone,"
said Craig Labovitz, chief scientist at Arbor Networks.
"We have never seen a country as connected as Egypt completely lose Internet connectivity for such an extended period."
He predicted that the blackout would have long-term repercussions for the country.
"Today, the Internet is as an integral part of the Egyptian economy and society. Unlike periods as recent as a decade ago, governments of technically developed countries cannot disrupt telecommunication without incurring significant economic cost and social/political pressures."

It is estimated that the blackout cost Egypt's economy about $90 million, or $18 million per day, comprising 3% to 4% of the country's economic output. Furthermore, the economic damage isn't over yet. According to the organization, Egypt will find it
"much more difficult in the future to attract foreign companies and assure them that the networks will remain reliable."

But can this happen in the United States or anywhere else? The answer is YES.

Congress is considering a bill to expand the President's authority granting power to pull the plug on the internet at will.

The bill in question is the Protecting Cyberspace as a National Asset Act of 2010, a cyber-security measure introduced in June by Sen. Joseph Lieberman. It was an over-arching cyber-security measure that, among other things, would create an office of cyberspace policy within the White House and a new cyber-security center within the Homeland Security Department.

According to data on the web site opencongress.org, several companies and organizations are backing this proposed legislation. Among the corporate names backing the bill, are antivirus giant Symantec (Norton), and cyber security training organization SANS Institute.

If this bill goes through they would basically be able to shut our internet down just like Egypt.

Check out these reports on video below:
