Lady Gaga, Katy Perry & Beyonce Banned In China!

Guess China isn't into "menage a trois'" and "muther fu*kers".....

Two years ago, amid a wider crackdown on illegal downloading, the ministry in China vowed to keep "poor taste and vulgar content" from the ears of the nation's youth. This week it handed music websites its latest blacklist of 100 pernicious songs. Unless the record labels submit the songs for official approval, the sites have until September 15 to remove tracks by Lady Gaga, Katy Perry and several Asian artists.

The new announcement appears to apply to legal streaming and download services as well as illicit ones. It warned that unauthorised tracks – as well as unregistered sites – disturbed the online market for music and harmed national cultural security, adding that sites should carry out "self-inspection and self-correction".

Sites which do not remove the content before September 15 will be prosecuted, unless the songs are submitted for approval. Only their owners can do that.

How the officials picked out the 100 titles on the list remains a mystery.

Although some are recent releases, the Backstreet Boys track is already 12 years old. Katy Perry's Last Friday Night has lyrics about streaking in a park, drinking shots and a menage a trois, and Beyoncé's Run the World (Girls) includes the implied profanity of the line: "We run this mutha."

But other choices – such as the Backstreet Boys' hit or Britney Spears's Burning Up – are hardly racy. Most of the condemned songs are from Lady Gaga with no fewer than six banned tracks: The Edge of Glory, Hair, Marry the Night, Americano, Judas and Bloody Mary.

Police Form Unit To Monitor Social Networking Sites --- Man Already Arrested For Water Gun Fight? Say What?!

Say the wrong thing on Twitter.......end up in jail?

The internet, and social media in particular, has become the new place where police will be monitoring for criminal activities and even advertised house parties.

Now the New York Police Department has decided to form a new unit with the explicit purpose of monitoring Twitter, Facebook, MySpace, and other social networks in an attempt to track down suspects.

Kind of like how they made a "Hip-Hop" unit to monitor rapper's songs...

But this time Assistant Commissioner Kevin O'Connor says they will be trawling social media networks trying to uncover chatter about crimes ranging from the seemingly insignificant house party to
"gang showdowns and other potential mayhem."
Meantime, the British police have arrested several internet users as part of a broader clampdown on social networking sites under security excuses.

A man will appear before magistrates next month for allegedly trying to organise a mass water fight via his mobile phone.

The prime minister said last week that the government would investigate whether social networking platforms should be shut down if they helped to "plot" crime in the wake of the riots.

The 20-year-old from Colchester was arrested on Friday after Essex police discovered the alleged plans circulating on the BlackBerry Messenger service and Facebook.

The unnamed man has been charged with "encouraging or assisting in the commission of an offence" under the 2007 Serious Crime Act, police said.

Another group of people in Iran were charged with the same "crime" of organizing a water gun fight via Facebook just a few days ago.

A water gun fight? Seriously.

But look, the UK is seriously considering shutting down Twitter all together.

The Metropolitan Police considered shutting down Twitter at the height of the rioting in London but discovered they did not have the power do so...but they are trying!

British Prime Minister David Cameron believes that Facebook and Twitter contributed to what he called as the violence and chaos in London.

Cameron is attempting to eradicate free speech with the help of the aforementioned two social media behemoths.

He claims that social media helped organize the riots, and stated,
"Free flow of information can be used for good, but it can also be used for ill. So we are working with the police, the intelligence services and industry whether it will be right to stop people communicating via these websites and services."

Cameron is now unabashedly advocating the exact same control exerted over the web by corrupt leaders in Egypt and elsewhere.

Back to the U.S., they may not be shutting Twitter down....but they will be watching!

How The London Riots All Started..... And How Blackberry BBM Played A Hand

As the riots in London look set to continue for a third night — and to spread to other parts of the UK — details are starting to emerge on how the rioters have been organizing themselves. The medium of choice? BlackBerry Messenger.

The riots began to protest the police shooting & killing of a 29-year-old man, Mark Duggan, a resident of the Tottenham area of north London, last Thursday. A Facebook group quickly sprung up to commemorate Duggan; police and media attention was drawn to a particular post on the Facebook page which appeared to fan the flames, as well as the occasional tweet from rioters describing their deeds and where they were headed next. Some posted pictures of looting and burning police cars.

But it soon became clear that BBM was by far the most popular means for rioters to communicate. BlackBerry devices, cheaper and more widespread than iOS or Android smartphones, are owned by more than a third of British teens, according to a recent study. BBM — an instant message service for BlackBerry owners — is free, instantly available, one-to-many, and the authorities can’t immediately trace it. BBM users must exchange PIN numbers, which keeps their conversations private.

BlackBerry made a specific effort to market its product among black youth in London, recently sponsoring a "secret gig" in London featuring top U.K. rappers. So Blackberry's are very popular to London teens now.

BBM messages began circulating since the Duggan shooting.

Deputy Assistant Commissioner Stephen Kavanaugh confirmed to U.K. media that officers were looking at Twitter too as they investigated the riots, which began after the police shooting of 29-year-old Mark Duggan in the Tottenham section of North London on Thursday.

Investigators are focusing their attention on a 90-minute period during which Mr Duggan phoned his partner, Semone Wilson, to ask her to cook dinner before getting into his taxi for a trip across north London. During the journey he noticed he was being followed in unmarked cars by officers from Operation Trident, the Yard's long-running crackdown on gun crime in the black community. In a BBM text to Ms Wilson from his BlackBerry, he wrote:
"The Feds are following me."

Mr Duggan, who carried a distinctive tattoo on his neck, was a regular user of taxis. A manager for one firm said he would use its services two or three times a week to travel to Walthamstow and Edmonton. The Trident officers, backed up by a CO19 detachment, were conducting a "pre-planned" operation to arrest Mr Duggan, who went by the street name "Starrish Mark" – a name which supposedly links him to another north London criminal group with links to Jamaican Yardies.

Mr Duggan's relatives feel they were let down by a lack of communication from the Metropolitan Police in the hours after his death. Deputy Assistant Commissioner Steve Kavanagh, the Yard officer in charge of policing the riots, said:

"I want to apologize to the Duggan family. I think that both the Metropolitan police and the IPCC could have managed their concerns far more effectively."

In the meantime, as riots continue throughout London, British police have threatened to bring charges against those who use social media to incite looting and violence.

Research in Motion, the manufacturer of BlackBerry, released a statement,

"We feel for those impacted by this weekend's riots in London. We have engaged with the authorities to assist in any way we can. As in all markets around the world where BlackBerry is available, we cooperate with local telecommunications operators, law enforcement and regulatory officials."

.....................so the real question is, should the police have shot & killed Duggan?

According to report, the suspected gang member was carrying a starter pistol modified to fire live bullets.

This is similar to many stories we have heard, especially within the recent weeks, of police shooting and killing suspects violently... in what some would say was not necessary.

UPDATE:

The worst riots in Britain for decades spread to new cities on a fourth night as youths ran amok in Manchester and the industrial Midlands.

Nearly 700 people have been arrested in London alone, and about 110 of them have been charged. Even after up-ing their police officer amount from 6,000 to 16,000 police officers in the capital...the violence still continues.

A 26-year-old man found with a gunshot wound to the head in a car in Croydon died in hospital on Tuesday, police said, becoming the first fatality of the riots.

Citizens are now hitting the streets of London to help clean up rioters. But some say this has turned into a racial war within their own city.

Free Mason Kills At Least 80 Ppl In Norway Bomb & Gun Attack! (VIDEO)

A bomb ripped through Oslo's central government district on Friday and minutes later a gunman dressed as a policeman opened fire at a youth camp on a nearby island, killing at least 80 people altogether.

The death toll is said to be rising.

This is the biggest attack in western Europe since the 2005 London transport bombings where seven died when the bomb exploded in the Norwegian capital.

This time the death toll is much higher...and a youth camp was targeted.
"I saw young people running around, jumping into the water,"
A witness said.

The gunman, Anders Behring Breivik, a 32-year-old Norwegian citizen, who is also said to be a free mason, is currently being interrogated by police.
"I have a message to the one who attacked us and those who were behind this,"
Norwegian Prime Minister Jens Stoltenberg said in a televised news conference.
"No one will bomb us to silence, no one will shoot us to silence."

The bomb, which shook the city center at around 3:30 p.m. (1330 GMT), blew out the windows of the Prime Minister's building and damaged the finance and oil ministry buildings.

"This is a terror attack. It is the most violent event to strike Norway since World War Two,"
said Geir Bekkevold, an opposition parliamentarian for the Christian Peoples Party.

Not only is the suspect a one-time free mason, Anders Behring Breivik is said to belong to an extreme right wing group and had a Glock pistol and machine gun registered in his name. He allegedly ran a company involved in farming "vegetables, melons, roots and tubers," and would have had access to chemical fertilizers used in bomb-making.

And crazy enough, the suspect has a Twitter account, with only one tweet, posted on July 17th that reads....
One person with a belief is equal to the force of 100 000 who have only interests.

The Last Space Shuttle Crew Prepares For Take Off -- Follow The Flight From Your Twitter! (Photo)

No more space shuttles! The very last space shuttle and crew are preparing for launch...and you can follow along right from your Twitter.

NASA has scheduled the launch of the shuttle Atlantis for July 8 -- and this is the very last launch of the Space Transportation System.

The last shuttle crew will go down in history among the most remembered, simply because they are the last astronauts to ride about the space shuttle.

Luckily for us, we will be able to experience some of it, as every shuttle crew member will be on Twitter for Atlantis' final flight! This will be the first (and the last) time in the 30-year space shuttle program.

Once we get the correct Twitter pages to follow, we will let you know. But even better, 150 lucky twitter users will actually be able to see the shuttle blast off and take part in the last mission. NASA says it will release the list of 150 tweetup participants by June 10.

But what about our new shuttles? What will they be like? Why is this the last space shuttle mission?

America’s next launch vehicles for human spaceflight will embrace the more conventional separate rocket booster and crew capsule. The shuttle was, indeed, a unique spacecraft that will in all likelihood never be repeated. It was and remains an extraordinary human spacecraft that no other nation on Earth succeeded in duplicating and launching. The Soviets designed and built the practically line-for-line copy of the shuttle they called the Buran, which flew—unmanned—only once.

To speculate at this point as to the configuration and, in fact, the manufacturer of the next US manned launch vehicle is really a gamble. Armchair prognosticators ask why not use the Delta 4 Heavy, while others point to the successful launch of the SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket and its Dragon capsule as an obvious choice. Certainly, the Ares 1-X launch vehicle developed by NASA and successfully launched on a suborbital flight on October 28, 2009 did not lead to further development as that program, and the parent Constellation program was cancelled.

Royal Wedding Madness! Sister Steals Spotlight!

Britain has a new Duke and Princess and even royalty has it's flaws!

Kate Middleton has married Prince William, but the reports say she will not be known as Princess Catherine. William and Kate will be known as the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, the titles bestowed upon them by the Queen on their wedding day. The Queen also gave them regional titles of Earl of Strathearn and Baron Carrickfergus. Kate joins Prince Charles' wife, Camilla, as a woman married to the heir to the throne without using the princess title. Camilla did not take the title of Princess of Wales out of respect for Princess Diana. She is known simply as Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall.

The spotlight was almost taken away from the new Princess on her wedding day, as her sister Pippa Middleton served as the maid of honor and wore ALL WHITE.

Pippa had the town talking because everyone knows the one big rule at a wedding is no one else should wear white to outshine the bride.

Despite that and Prince William being nervous about forgetting his words, the rest of the ceremony was gorgeous! Watch it below:

Aftermath: 8.9M Earthquake/ Tsunami Hit Japan! Photos, Videos + Updates!

2:46 p.m. on Friday, March 11th 2011, the biggest earthquake to hit Japan, since officials began keeping records, struck and the devastation is far from over!

Japan was hit by a magnitude 8.9 earthquake Friday, followed by a 4-metre tsunami on the northeast coast. Aftershocks are continuing and people along the coast are moving to higher ground in anticipation of a tsunami.

A day after Japan’s most powerful earthquake claimed hundreds of lives, authorities on Saturday continued rescue operations and efforts to avert further catastrophe at damaged nuclear power plants.

Tokyo Electric Power Corp. , also known as Tepco, the level of cooling water surrounding fuel rods in the No. 1 reactor at Fukushima Daiichi nuclear power plant dropped temporarily, according to Kyodo News.

The power plant operator reportedly said part of fuel rods may have been damaged by overheating.

Tepco undertook operations to release pressure building inside the container housing the reactors, which led to the release of a small amount of radioactive vapor, according to the reports.

Japanese authorities declared a state of nuclear emergency on Friday evening.

Some 20,000 people evacuated from the areas around the plants Saturday, Kyodo reported.

The Tepco reactors are about 150 miles north of Tokyo, and about 40 miles from the epicenter of the 8.9-magnitude earthquake that struck northeastern Japan a day earlier.

Japanese media says over 1,200 people are either confirmed dead or missing so far, many in the city of Sendai near the epicenter.

The death toll is expected to climb as many reported missing in coastal areas swept by a tsunami are unlikely to have survived.

Check out some more horrific photos and also videos of the devastation below:

The quake also triggered a tsunami that sent strong waves crashing on Hawaii and also caused minor damage some 5,000 miles across the Pacific Ocean in Oregon and California.

The world is in our prayers.
