When Prince was on "The View," Barbara Walters brought up her 2010's "10 Most Fascinating People" list and 16-year-old pop singer, Justin Bieber is one of them. She told Prince that in her recent interview with Justin Bieber, he named Prince as a recording artist he would identify as a role model because he has managed to stay in the business for so long.
Whoopi Goldberg and Ms. Walters pointed out that Prince not only sings, but he also writes songs and plays instruments.
Prince agreed, saying,
"The key to longevity is to learn every aspect of music that you can, and I hope that he does pick up an instrument and gets a good teacher."
Beyonce and her mother, Tina Knowles, appeared on the ABC talk show the View this morning [Nov. 22] to introduce Tina's new clothing line, Miss Tina.
The View hosts interviewed Beyonce and her mother, who introduced Miss Tina by having the outfits modeled in small and plus sizes, so the audience could see how the pieces looked on everyday women. While Tina Knowles' clothing line will be available at Walmart and is marketed to be "affordable clothing for real women," Tina talked about creating prom dresses for Beyonce's fans that either write to her or meet her on the road.
Meanwhile, Beyonce was interviewed about her upcoming ABC special, 'Beyonce's I Am...World Tour,' which will air on Thanksgiving and feature her husband, Jay-Z, and friend Kanye West. She was also asked about her Heat perfume ad that was recently banned on daytime TV in the UK for being sexually provocative. The studio audience then received free bottles of Beyonce's perfume.
Recently, Bey also spoke on her "pregnancy" rumors:
"At this point, they say that I've been pregnant like eight times, so I am kind of used to it,"
Bey said in an interview with The Associated Press.
"I just hope that one day when I decide to be pregnant that people are happy for me. ... One day hopefully I will be. It's part of being a celebrity, I guess.
IN CASE U MISSED IT: Lady Gaga kept fierce with this red Elizabethan-inspired Queen Of Hearts rubber dress by Atsuko Kudo and wild-style crystal eye accents.
She apparently greeted the crowd with the diva-like statement, "Good evening, Blackpool. Let me hear you rattle your jewelry." (LOL Get 'em girl!)
