Chris Brown Beefs w/ Frank Ocean & Odd Future!

What started out a compliment....ended with a full out Twitter War!

As Chris Brown TRIES to keep his drama level down...it just seems to raise back up...

He started out his day by, what he thought was a compliment, to new artist Frank Ocean...

I fuck wit Frank Ocean! Reminds me of a young James Fauntleroy or Kevin Cossum.

Guess, Frank wasn't feeling the comparison and fired back with,

i fucks wit chris brown, reminds me of a young sisqo or ike turner.

i just dont like underhanded comments. thats all im saying.

Chris has also been beefing with @FuckTyler aka "Tyler The Creator" lately....

Frank Ocean and Tyler are both a part of the group, Odd Future. (OFWGKTA)

Frank is friends with Tyler...so we don't think he likes Chris that much. So it is kind of odd that he would complement him right? ...

Or maybe not, because Chris says he was just trying to help with Frank's sales. (As Chris does send out, and praise new artists on his Twitter on a normal basis)

Chris quickly tweeted back to Frank with a series of posts,

it was a compliment you bitch ass nigga. Everybody claim to be the devil till they meet him.

fuck odd future! Make sure y'all smalltime niggas stick yo chess out when u speak to me,

Ain't no battery in my back! U just getting on ass niggas! Don't let them pills go to yo head!

I was tryna help yo sales nigga. You fuckin clown! You and would be casted great for planet of the apes!

Frank Ocean must have caught some deep feelings here cause he responded with,

@chrisbrown yea man. its over. just stop following me. and let bygones be bygones.

"Stop following me?" lol.....

Frank later deleted that tweet.

Chris wrote back,

@Frank_ocean fuck you nigga. Lol

Then Frank tweeted to everyone,

rich poor guy.

But it really seems like Tyler from Odd Future and Chris really have some serious beef...

Tyler:

Coming From The Yellow RnB Nigga That Had 3 Bodyguards.........By The Way, We Was In San Diego Christopher.

thats what they told you? All that tells me is that u hangwit busters. It was 10 of them. No security.me and 2 relatives lol

The world is crazy. These niggas talk shit, worship the devil and start shit wit me and I'm the bad guy? Fucking hilarious

, but from the word on the street...we're hearing it's not that serious.

Let's keep it on Twitter boys.

But for real though, wtf IS up with all of Tyler from Odd Future's devil worshiping?

Interestingly enough Frank's group Odd Future, and Jay-Z have been working together recently...and we all know how Chris & Jay feel about each other.

Jay-Z has also been rumored to be a "Devil Worshiper."

**THIS POST MADE THE OFFICIAL "TWEET OF THE WEEK."

UPDATE:

Chris put an end to his "beef" with Frank and Odd Future, sending out this tweet:

This beef shit is stupid, I respect ya music and you and Odd Future! Ain't beefing wit nobody. Y'all can have that! Love

Tyler the Creator responded with,

Shit Got Too Real On Both Ends. I'm Over It. We're All Over This Shit. Its Stupid As Fuck. Swag It Out.

Nick Cannon Writes Letter To Eminem Declaring War....SMH

We're guessing the baby on the way just isn't enough publicity for Nicki Cannon....

In a post on his blog, Nicki Cannon wrote,
“(Eminem is) still obsessed with my wife, the same female that wouldn’t let him get to second base from 8 years ago.”

Cannon called Eminem “Slim Lamey” and offered him a challenge, writing,
“Man to man, let’s meet up and deal with this like adults… This is my invitation to you, whenever and wherever you like, sir. So when you come out of your introverted hiding place and ask your bodyguards if you can go out and play by yourself, I’m here Pimp!”

And he further teased Eminem by stating,
“Your legacy has now been tainted from this day forth! You will now be known as the rapper who lost to corny-ass Nick Cannon!”

The angry post was later removed, but Cannon isn’t finished with making fun of Eminem and plans to make the rapper the butt of his jokes during his comedy special.

A spokesman for Showtime says,
“In his first-ever comedy special, the popular comic actor and musician reveals surprisingly edgy, hysterically honest tales of his failed attempts at being a gangster, his humble roots, marriage, fatherhood and his thoughts about the rapper Eminem.”

TWEET OF THE WEEK: 50 Cent vs. Ja'Rule

Some of your favorite celebs have been tweeting away this week...well, MOST of 'em!

But these two guys, 50 Cent and Ja' Rule seemed to really stir things up.

Here's the scoop, you can add Ja' Rule to the long list of celebs that have been in trouble with the law for tax evasion. This week he plead guilty to 3 Million dollars in tax evasion and he also has 2 years under his belt for weapons charges, the same charge Lil' Wayne did one year for.

So it's been a tough week for Ja...and 50 Cent sure aint making it better. 50 got on twitter and started picking on Ja'Rule, which erupted a Twitter Beef!

50 Cent kicked it off by retweeting (sending out a message from someone else for all of us to see)
"LOL RT@YouCantBSerious: Ja Rule pleads guilty to tax evasion aww this is the biggest headline for Ja since @50Cent destroyed his career ...
The 50 continued...
Damn you don't want to pay taxes fool. Take 3 more years hahaha. Oh s--- I'm crying LMAO ... Tell him (Ja Rule) I said don't worry I got him when he come home. Lol ... Yo word to my mother if anybody knock jah out and f--- him in jail it's gonna be on."
Ja'Rule responded with,

"I wouldn't expect anything different from a ho a-- n---- like @50Cent. This Curtis fellow is a real clown clothing line dead sneakers dead album sales been dead and y'all let him talk like he's poppin @50Cent...Don't worry about my tax issue there gonna pay that 1.1 mil ... most of u n----s can't pay your phone bill lmao #WINNING STILL..He got 3 mil followers and his last album barely went gold gtfoh @50Cent."

Looks like the 50 Cent and Ja'Rule beef will be never ending!

Lil Kim Disses Nicki Minaj On NYE "Me and my girl Mary J. Blige about to eat these b*tches alive" (VIDEO + PICS)

Ok so while Nicki Minaj was performing on B.E.T's 106 and Party, Carson Daily's NYE Special on ABC, and at Club Mansion in Miami... Lil Kim still managed to use Nicki during her own New Years performance. And the drama continues...

Lil’ Kim brought in the new year hosting a party in Pennsylvania, looking BEAUTIFUL if I may add. The Queen Bee performed a few tracks (including Black Friday) and at some point during the performance, she went in on Nicki Minaj & Keyshia Cole, claiming that in their new collabo together, the two tried to come for her and Mary J. Blige.

…I think this other b*tch got a song with Keyshia Cole, right? Coming at me and the mutha f-ckin’ other queen, Mary J. Blige. Me and my girl Mary J. Blige about to eat these b*tches alive where they won’t even f-cking exist no more and erase their f-cking social security number! We gon’ remind them who the f-ck we are! I’m not playing with this b*tch for 2011. I’m saying, we can rock together but b*tch you ain’t taking NOTHING from me!
I don't think people are taking anything away from Kim BUT Nicki said it best, "Bitch, if you ain't shittin', then get off the pot."

Rick Ross Finally Speaks On Ditching Chrisette Michele At Soul Train Awards For Not Winning! Chrisette Goes Off! (VIDEO)

We've been meaning to put this story up for you guys...

The word was Rick Ross ditched R&B singer Chrisette Michele at the recent Soul Trains Awards. They were supposed to perform and Chrisette said Ross just left the building without letting her know and she still hasn't spoke to him! Chrisette says she heard Ross left because he did not win the “Best Hip Hop Song,” which went to Eminem.

Check her out on New York's Power 105.1 talking about it...

WATCH IT FROM YOUR PHONE - CLICK HERE

She then took to her blog to express her disappointment in Hip Hop:

If this is the way hip hop is then I denounce it.
This is not about ego. This is about what I can bring to the world. My life is for the people. I live to give.

It’s my desire to bring life and freedom light and love everywhere I go. Upward mobility in the brown skinned community.
Who stands off at an award show because they don’t win? An award is winning at being as “stuck in a category” as possible. Congratulations to all the trophy holders who won at being the most like every one else.

I could have sworn hip hop was on the come up. But apparently rapping is about venting, bashing, chauvinistic pigging, and EGO. Not cool. Don’t LET me start rapping.

They say…I’m ecclectic. I’m underrated. I’m different. Well If I win an award it’s because I paved a way. Every award I’ve won was new in it’s category. You know why? Because I’m amazing at being my damn self.

Grammy – best alternative R&B song Centric award – Soul Approved Etc
Have u even heard of those categories? Nope. But guess what? You ain’t never seen another me. And u never will. No ego here. Why? Because it’s none needed. My award is waking up every morning and CAKING off of what I believe in by the grace of God.

Maybe I’ll call my 4th album “winners : just like every body else” maybe not.
I pray with every song I sing Im singing from the bottom of my heart. If all we want is an award for telling our truths, then we really have no true reason. This isn’t a competition. This is a stage for self expression and I’m grateful for the opportunity to live on it. I’d sing even if nobody sang along.

-from the bottom of my disappointed heart. Hip Hop… Man up. I wanted to be supportive but I can’t understand you. I believed in you… But apparently you’re so high you can’t even see what the world needs

Is all hip hop like that? Absolutely not! But some of it certainly is. Let me spit a few bars. I’m not that kinda hip hop. I rep hip hop too. But not that kinda ego trippin foolery. Chrisette Michele – the girl on that Aston Martin Music record…

Until now Rick Ross has not actually responded on the situation. In the new issue of The Source magazine, Rick Ross talks about the allegations that he left the Soul Train awards because he was mad Eminem won over him.

The word coming from the show was they you were upset Eminem beat you in the Song Of the Year category and you stormed out.

Not at all. I’ve been going to award shows for a long time and I’ve never had a problem with who won. I’m happy I’m recognized. We were in the trailer, going over these particular [performance] issues [with the sows producer]. Out of respect, we came back out there to give them a reaction to the nomination. They gave the award to Eminem. I applauded. Big Record. That wasn’t the issue. Like I said, the things we requested weren’t met. It had nothing to do with Chrisette Michele. It may have had to do with me not knowing the other 50 people that were onstage at [rehearsal] and we doing my record.

Have you talked to Chrisette?

I haven’t spoken to Chrisette Michele or her team. but I didn’t speak to her to [invite her to] the show either. It was something maybe the label set up. [But] her choice of words were ugly. Denouncing Hip-Hop, that ain’t cool. Using ugly words could give off the wrong impression. That could make your hat look ugly to me now. That could make your haircut look ugly to me now. Hopefully if we win a Grammy, she’ll come out and accept it withy our boy. Give me a kiss on the cheek.

Nicki Minaj NY Times Feature: Says Lil' Kim "Can be a nasty character." (PICS + VIDEO)

During a recent photo shoot and interview with the NY Times, the NY Times asked Nicki to speak on her current arch nemesis Lil Kim.

Nicki says that she thinks her negativity “makes it even harder for female rappers” and adds that she'd rather the Queen Bee just give her her props instead of being a “nasty character.”

She told The Times,

“But the thing that I want to promote is that if you see someone doing their thing, give them their props. We all have it hard and face the same challenges as female emcees. Show some mutual love and respect for each other so that it doesn't gethttp://www.blogger.com/img/blank.gif nasty. And she can be a nasty character.”

Check out Nicki's NY Times feature below.

We don't want to talk about this issue any more after this. Nicki is sending a positive message to empower females, why go against that?

For some reason females always go against each other, and that does make it hard for females to success. As we said time and time again, we are huge Lil' Kim fans, but let's face it, Lil' Kim had girls screaming to get there chochas licked and Nicki is has them empowering themselves. If you honestly take the time to listen you will hear that Nicki is a girl with a lot of talent and with a lot of inspiration. If your not a fan, then it is what it is.

But this may be a good time to tell you guys that Nicki announced last week,

"Pink Friday under the 'HipHop/Rap' genre has the highest selling first week from a female in HISTORY."

via her Twitter account!

Congrats that's BIG.

our FAVORITE track is "Save Me." (We will probably feature that ;))

Jay-Z Says His "TakeOver" Diss To Nas Was 1000 Times Better Than Nas' "Ether" (AUDIO)

Jay-Z recently spoke about the legendary battle between him and fellow rap legend, Nas. Jay says his "Takeover" is 1000 times better than Nas' "Either" ...Do you agree?

Listen below:

LISTEN FROM YOUR PHONE - CLICK HERE

For me, the Jay-Z/ Nas beef was one of the biggest beef in Hip-Hop to date. Being from Queens, I was a HUGE Nas fan, and no one could tell me different! But you can't deny it Nas stans......Jay definitely got 'em didn't he? I'm saying, I'm still a Nas supporter all day, but Jay-Z basically ended Nas' career as we knew it! Jay went on to sell millions, start a clothing line, marry Beyonce, become Def Jam's President, be a 9/11 hero and sit his Hip-Hop ass all up in the White House. I really wish things would have turned out differently for Nas....

So does the question still stands....who won that battle?

Check out the Jay/ Nas disses below:

Jay's "Takeover"

Nas answered with "Ether"

Then Jay came back with "Super Ugly" ....classic

In case you missed it, MC Hammer was furious over the comments Jay-Z made about Hammer on Kanye West's "So Appalled."

On the track Jigga spits,

"…And Hammer went broke so you know I'm more focused. I lost 30 mil so I spent another 30. Cause unlike Hammer 30 million can't hurt me."

Hammer went off on Twitter, calling Jay-Z a "hell boy" and more:

He said he would drop a music video diss to Jay and he did! Take a look, an imposer Jay-Z and all....

Does Hammer has a right to be upset? Do you think people will ever stop making fun of his financial past?

Rick Ross VS Young Jeezy BEEF...Is It Real?! [GET THE 411 & LISTEN TO JEEZY'S DISS TRACK]

Here we go again. It seems there is a "new" Hip-Hop Beef circulating between two of Def Jam's artists, Young Jeezy and Rick Ross.

Jeezy has a new song out called "Death Before Dishonor" which is a remix to Ricky Rozay's B.M.F (Blowing Money Fast). Well get this, the initials of the song and its opening chorus pay homage to Black Mafia Family and its incarcerated leader Demetrius "Big Meech" Flenory. So supposedly rappers such as Bleu Davinci and Jeezy who were actually affiliated with the real BMF feel like Ross crossed the line.

Young Jeezy: BMF - Rick Ross Diss [VIDEO BELOW]

Jeezy dropped the song a few days ago and here is the part that has everyone going crazy. Death Before Dishonor" is featured on "Young Jeezy 1,000 Grams" mixtape.

"How you blowin' money fast? You don't know the crew / Are you part of the fam? Shit, I never knew / Y'all was supposed to make it hard, this is easy, hoe / "Pull up in that triple white," I think I'm Jeezy, hoe."

BUT.... Rick Ross said he just doesn't "get" the thought process behind the diss track.

"I haven't had a chance to talk to the homie,"
Ross said.
"I really don't know what the thought process was behind it. My record was called 'Blowin' Money Fast.' It confused me that if it was called 'The Real B.M.F.,' I would have called it 'The Black Mafia Family.' ... You know, you may have to ask him. Other than that, we still reppin', we still riding, and [my] record is getting love everywhere. So it's all good."

Here is Ross' interview discussing the track below: [VIDEO]

The question a lot of people are asking themselves at this point is, IS THIS REAL?? OR A DEF JAM PLOT TO SELL ALBUMS?

Ever since 50 Cent started syncing all of his album releases with a fresh batch of beefs, the world has soured on the genre's more obvious WWE-like machinations.

The acrimonious back-and-forth began when Ross released “"B.M.F. (Blowin' Money Fast)," a nod to the infamous drug organization Black Mafia Family. Jeezy, who is actually associated with BMF and its now-imprisoned leader Big Meech, responded with “BMF (The Real Blowin' Money Fast),” featuring Meech himself on the phone from prison. And just to make sure his point was coming across, Jeezy followed up with “Death Before Dishonor,” a freestyle over Ross's original “BMF” beat dissin Ross.

So, is this real?

On the one hand, Jeezy and Ross are both on Def Jam and have collaborated in the past; also, Jeezy has an impending new album, Thug Motivation 103, to plug.

On the other, Jeezy has more than enough motivation not to like Ross: both are of a similar ilk — doughy, Southern rappers obsessed with cocaine — but while Jeezy was on the scene first, Ross has at this point arguably eclipsed him in popularity and general acclaim. Also, Jeezy invented shouting out BMF (on the remix to Ross's “Hustlin',” no less)

What do YOU think about the beef between Ross and Jeezy????

Lil Kim Calls Drake a "Punk P*ssy" in Her New Interview & Explains Nicki Minaj Beef/ Diddy, Trina & Missy Speak Out! [VIDEOS Included]

So I have been following this Lil Kim/ Nicki Minaj beef thoroughly for you and as Drake says in his song..this is "far from overrrr."

Lil Kim is now angry with Drake for jumping in the beef.

A few days back, Drake took Minaj's side, defending his Young Money label mate and spoke out saying,

"I don't give a f**k what Lil' Kim or nobody else talkin' bout."
Then he took a jab at Ray,
"Whoever else was onstage with her, I didn't respect that at all. You just wearing your heart on your sleeve. You're showing that you're upset."

He also took the stage with Nicki and made and announcement saying Nicki is the baddest chic in the game...check it out:

Well, Lil Kim aint letting that fly she fired back calling Drake a "punk p*ssy" in her new interview and goes on to say,

"At the end of the day, this ni**a wore his heart on his sleeve by coming at me and I'm a f**king girl.

Ray J's the one who said everything. You ain't mentioned this ni**a's name one time."
And she goes on to compare herself to Jay-Z and 50 Cent because of their beefs.

The main thing it seems that Kim wanted to get across too is that she did a record for Birdman called “Grindin’ Making Money" where Nicki was later added, they told Kim that track was so dope and that it would be great for her and Nicki to collab to help expand Nicki's career but the song was cut from Baby’s album [put as a bonus later] and the video was scrapped.

Kim says she felt disrespected. You can listen to the track below:

Lil Kim goes on to say,
"For the last year, she's [Nicki] been subliminally taking shots at me, subliminally taking shots at the other girls in the industry."
I mean, come on, we read that interview where she said, 'Oh, being that the other rap chicks in the game ain't got sh-- to do right now, when I'm by the pool, they can feed me grapes,' I remember that sh--,"
She also says this about Nicki "stealing her style"....
"I let her live, I could have been came out and do what I'm doing now"
"My problem is this, you're stealing my sh*t. You {Nicki] want to be like me, but you acting like you created this lane, the whole barbie thing....this aint new mama"
She gets into the whole Diddy situation and him taking Nicki Minaj under his wing. Check out the entire interview below!

Just in case you feel lost, this feud all began when Lil' Kim and Ray J dissed Nicki Minaj on stage during a concert.
"I'm seeing a lot of Lil' Kim imposters,"
Ray said.

"I'm not saying no names, but you know who."

And then it got ugly. click below for these previous stories:

Lil Kim Brings Diddy Into Nicki Minaj War - Disses Him On Stage! [VIDEO]

Ray J & Lil Kim Diss Nicki Minaj Live On Stage- Signs to Jay-Z's Label! Nicki & Drake Respond! [VIDEO]

Nicki Minaj hasn't said much but in a previous interview she says Lil Kim is an icon. But what I found interesting is that she went on to say she pays homage but she thinks she has what it takes to fill her [Lil Kim's] shoes. So is Nicki saying she could be "the one" who can copy her? Or are we looking too much into it? Take a listen below...

Lil Kim even sat down to chat, on camera, in her personal tour bus with an up-and-coming female emcee, "Keys," who has dissed Nicki Minaj previously.

Lil Kim keeps it super funky, talks about the fake Twitter account that was pretending to be Lil Kim, talking reckless about everyone. She even throws up the ROC sign...lol listen below:

Then......Diddy spoke out about what Kim said (I know.....it's getting complicated lol)

He says,

"She [Nicki Minaj] ain't trying to swagger-jack or say nothing negative about her. I just think that Kim needs to just understand that Nicki as a whole has always been respectful of her and Nicki's not trying to be her,...I ain't gonna make no apologies for working with Nicki Minaj. [She is] somebody that's never said anything negative about Kim and just really has always, in my eyes, has paid homage to Kim. She's a different MC. They don't even talk about the same thing. If you're like a connoisseur of MCs and you a specialist — like what Kim has talked about and what Nicki talks about — they don't talk about the same things."

Puff also suggested that Kim's vocal attacks on the Nicki are a ploy to build buzz as she prepares to drop a new project. [That's what I said in my previous report. It's too bad that's what this industry and lead to]

"Kim is gonna be a MC and MCs when they coming back out a lot of times they like to talk crazy and do what they do, "
he said.
"At the end of the day, everybody respects Lil' Kim for being the Queen Bee."

As the beef continues to be more complicated, fellow female emcees have shared their own insights.

Trina commented on the situation saying,
"That's crazy. I really don't get it. I don't see where all this is coming from...[We're] all ladies. Can't we just make music and get our paper and keep it moving?! We all respect Kim. She opened the doors for us females. It's all good - everybody's eating, what's the issue?"

In line with Trina, Missy Elliott commented too!

"I like Nicki Minaj's music. I think she's hot!!"
She added,
"I've been a fan of Lil' Kim from the beginning and always will be. Kim is a rap icon!"

Agreed Missy and Trina! I have to co-sign that. I love Lil Kim though and I enjoyed hearing what she had to say in this new interview. I still think it's all coming off the wrong way. But I do feel her on certain things. What do you think?

Gloria Velez Disses Nicki Minaj In New Freestyle....lol, What do YOU think?!

Listen to it below...

LOL....so what do you guys think??

Well, Nicki took it to Twitter...

She wrote:
“Jealousy is a disease. Die Slow.”

LOL

Prior to this diss record Gloria stated in an interview that Nicki’s career is a gimmick.

“She’s a good gimmick, like she has the right team behind her. That’s it, because if anybody else put her out or she was by herself, it would not pop off at all … no matter how much plasticsurgery or no matter how much injections in the butt. It’s not gonna happen. It’s a gimmick…Nah, I don’t like her music. Sorry. I can’t front…I like [Foxy Brown], I like Eve, I liked [Lil] Kim’s first album. I think it’s a gimmick. I don’t think it’s real rap.”

Trey Songz Vs. R.Kelly AGAIN?! Trey Songz Sounds Off!

Ok, so they kinda sounds a like, look alike and have that same gutta/ R&B style but there have always been many reports about these two dudes having beef because of this same issue!

Trey Songz might have denied that there's a beef between him and R. Kelly — whom he's regularly criticized in song and interviews — but that doesn't mean they share a friendly relationship.

In the upcoming April/May issue of Vibe, Songz again talks about Kelly, accusing him of jacking R&B singer/songwriter Aaron Hall's style. Trey admits he's done the same with Kelly's style, injecting some of the embattled star's subtleties into his music. The result, Songz's Ready album, is his most successful project to date.

"People say, 'Well, I hear a lot of R. Kelly in your music.' So what?"
Songz told the magazine, which hits newsstands April 13
"R. Kelly took Aaron Hall's whole style. Two albums straight. ... You can say what you want about me."

Diddy, Nelly, Jadakiss, Rick Ross, Flyod Mayweather & More: Uncut Footage in Vegas/ Diddy Stops Flloyd & Ross From Brawling!

In case you missed it, while everyone was partying in Vegas, that partying almost turned to rumbling. Floyd Mayweather was ready to fight Rick Ross but just before a fight broke out, Diddy saved the day.

It all went down at the grand opening of Vanity nightclub in the Hard Rock Hotel, which was hosted by Diddy. We're told Floyd Mayweather went to the party to see Diddy, when he literally ran into rapper Rick Ross.

Sources tell TMZ one of the men "bumped" into the other man and their entourages immediately became "confrontational."

But as things started to heat up, we're told Diddy swooped in between the guys and calmed everyone down.

We called Mayweather's camp for comment and his father, Floyd Mayweather Sr. says there's been beef between Floyd and Ross for a while because Ross has allegedly been, "talking s**t."

We're told both Mayweather Jr. and Ross eventually went back in the club and partied the rest of the night away without incident.

According to Floyd, he no longer has any issues with the Boss.

"Like I said before, we had a little problem, what he do is what he do and what I do is what I do," Mayweather explained. "You know how it is. With anybody, if you start trouble, you know, I gotta finish it. Like I said before, he did what he had to do and I did what I had to do. And that's in the past and I'll leave it where it's at...Well, I'm the biggest boss that you've seen thus far [laughs] "

Ok but that did sound like a little jab at the end thought right lol.

No word from Ross or Diddy yet.

Young Jeezy & Gucci Mane Finally Unite! [AUDIO INCLUDED]

ALLHIPHOP: A violent feud between rappers Young Jeezy and Gucci Mane came to an end tonight (December 3rd) on Atlanta radio station Hot 107.9, during DJ Drama’s Gangsta Grillz radio show.

Young Jeezy and Gucci Mane have had a feud the dates back to 2005, over the hit single “Icy,” which was supposed to be featured on Young Jeezy’s debut album Let’s Get It: Thug Motivation 101.

Instead, "Icy" appeared on Gucci’s independent 2005 release Back to the Trap House. The feud culminated with Gucci Mane murdering an affiliate of CTE in 2005. He was acquitted of the crime in 2006.

“You know nobody can ever change this history we made, we made classics,”
Young Jeezy said of his mended relationship with DJ Drama. “And besides that, we opened up a lane for a lot of these young cats to come into the game. I seen more trappin’ in in the industry now than I ever seen. I know we had a lot to do with this….I just want everyone to know, just by me and you sitting here talking, that’s what men do. Now it’s back to the money, it’s back to the business. I aint gonna lie, I was caught up in my feelings… We gotta make some more history and we gotta open some more doors for these people man.”

DJ Drama, who recorded several Gangsta Grillz mixtapes with Young Jeezy during his rise through Hip-Hop’s underground, became involved in the feud when he decided to release a Gangster Grillz mixtape with Gucci Mane in 2008.

Young Jeezy labeled the Philadelphia-bred, Atlanta-based DJ as a traitor and claimed that the DJ began to act shady after he became famous, a charge which DJ Drama denied.

As a result of his relationship with Gucci Mane, Young Jeezy and DJ Drama also had several altercations at various music industry functions, although, their situation never escalated to the level of the beef between Young Jeezy and Gucci Mane.

“On my end its like even through everything, we weren’t speaking a lot, there was stuff in there. Then I realized we can agree to disagree,” DJ Drama said. “We are letting you know it’s bigger than us. We do what we do for yall. We are about to get so much more money, we are about to make so many more outlets for revenue for the city, for everybody to eat.”

Young Jeezy’s feud with Gucci Mane was much more serious.

The feud over “Icy” saw Jeezy releasing diss records like "Stay Strapped," while Gucci released tracks like "Round One" and "Hurry."

In the aftermath of these records, the pairs feud quickly became violent in May 2005, when Gucci Mane and an associate were allegedly set up and ambushed by men five men, later identified as affiliates of Young Jeezy’s CTE record label.

Gucci and an associate were visiting a woman when the five men stormed the residence with guns and duck tape and pistol whipped the rapper and his associate.

Gucci Mane fired upon the men, striking one, before fleeing the scene.

Days later, a man identified as Henry Lee Clark III was found dead from a gunshot wound behind a local elementary school.

According to reports, Clark, aka Pookie Loc, was still wearing his CTE chain when police found his decomposing body.

Gucci Mane was eventually hit with a murder charge over the shooting but the charge was dropped in January 2006, when Gucci Main's lawyers proved that the rapper acted in self defense.

On the radio tonight, Young Jeezy and Gucci Mane ended their dispute peacefully, when Gucci phoned into the station from jail.

“I’m a 100% down with it [squashing the beef], you know I’m 10 toes forward. I’m with it and I think it’s a great idea and that’s what I’m fittin’ to do. I hope everybody is ready cause it’s back on,” Gucci Mane said to Young Jeezy.

“That’s what it is homie,” Young Jeezy replied. “What’s understood aint gotta be said man. We gonna do this for the city so you just hold your head up. Me and Drama gonna hold it down brah, and that’s what it is. 100.”

Beanie Sigel Calls Rift With Jay-Z 'A Defining Moment'

"I couldn't tell you that," he said of his ultimate plan. "I'd be defeating the purpose on what I was doing if I tell people what's my strategy, what my plan is gonna be. But then again, I could tell you what's my strategy, my plans, because you can't stop it. It was willed already. This moment right here is a defining moment. ... What I'm about to do is set a timeline to show people in my music where this at. This is not nothing new. Now it's time to go back to those albums that people overlooked or didn't get an opportunity to really grasp and hold on to 'em because there was that wall in front of it. And when I go back and start to pick out the music like, 'When I said this, this what I was talking about,' for this moment that's here today right now."
