What is common between Saif Ali Khan and Shahid Kapoor? No, it's not Kareena Kapoor! The two Bollywood hunks are battling it out for the top spot for India's sexiest bachelor.

Saif and Shahid have the charm to set heart beats racing and they will compete against each other on BIG CBS PRIME's "India's Sexiest Bachelor" show Saturday.

Interestingly, both the actors have started their journey in Bollywood at the age of 22.

Saif is dating Kareena and has two kids from his marriage with Amrita Singh, but this hasn't deterred the 40-year-old's female fan-following from drooling over him.

On the other hand, Shahid, 30, is popular among his female fans for his charming smile and hot body.

So watch out who gets lucky with the sexy tag!

Ameesha Patel grabs Race 2

The original Race released to packed audiences in 2008. Abbas-Mastan's entertaining murder mystery took the box office by storm to become one of the highest grossers of the year.

Ameesha Patel has now joined the film's sequel. The sequel, of course, is expected to outdo even the original.

Simply titled Race 2 as of now, the cast includes Anil Kapoor, Saif Ali Khan, John Abraham, Deepika Padukone and Chitrangda Singh. It is learnt that Ameesha will star opposite Anil Kapoor, who played a quirky, corrupt detective in Race.

A source close to the star has revealed that Ameesha will sport a bikini in the film, adding to its glam quotient. Many will remember that Ameesha sported a yellow bikini in Thoda Pyaar Thoda Magic. Though the film bombed, Ameesha's sizzling turn brought her back into the public eye.

Race 2 will go on floors this October and will release in August 2012.

Karisma clears the air about Bebo's marriage

Bollywood actress Karisma Kapur denied reports that her younger sister Kareena is set to tie the knot with beau Saif Ali Khan towards the end of 2012.



"Kareena is not getting married anytime soon," Karisma said.



Rumour mills have been abuzz with information that the couple - 'Saifeena' - is ready to settle down, and that their nuptials would happen at a palace in Bhopal in royal style. Other reports suggested that Kareena's wedding trousseau would be designed by Ritu Kumar.



But Karisma's denial proves otherwise.



The charismatic 37-year-old, who has done films like Dil To Pagal Hai, Biwi No.1, Raja Hindustani, and Zubeidaa, was last seen in Mere Jeevan Saathi which released in 2006.



She has now teamed up with model-turned-actor Rajneesh Duggal for Vikram Bhatt's film titled Dangerous Ishq.



"I can't speak much about the film but yes, I am doing it because I think the time was right," said the actress, who looked stunning even in a simple black top and a pair of dark blue jeans.

Deepika voices about infidelity on a reality show..

Deepika padukone has all of a sudden become very vocal about the issue of infidelity and the platform that she chose to voice her views was the TV show Emotional Atyachar.

"If you cannot be loyal then don't be in a relationship, stop hurting people who love you," said Deepika while watching the cheats on the show.

Well, we don't know if Deepika was warning the cheat on the show or was hinting at one of her real life boyfriends.

Deepika was accompanied by filmmaker Prakash Jha, who had come on the show to promote his film Aarakshan.

Aarakshan is a socio-political drama based on one of the most controversial policies of caste based reservations in government jobs and educational institutions.

Kareena goes coy..

For all those who were waiting with bated breath to see Kareena Kapoor in a wet white saree, when she reprises the role of erstwhile sex bomb Mandakini in Once Upon a Time in Mumbai 2, we have bad news for you.

"Bebo has refused to do the scene."

Milan Luthria's sequel introduces Mandakini as a character because the actresses romantic association with mafia don Dawood Abraham - a central character in the film-is well known.

Luthria wanted Kareena to shoot a rehash of the landmark and utterly revealing waterfall sequence from Raj Kapoor's Ram teri Ganga Maili to retain the sensuality associated with Mandakini.

The fact that Kareena's grandfather Raj Kapoor had directed Ram teri Ganga Maili had made Luthria feel, would add to the allure.

Kareena, however, made it clear that she is not comfortable with this degree of exposure at this point of her career and life, especially with marriage to boyfriend Saif Ali Khan in the offing.

Saif and Deepika to appear on KBC

Bollywood actors Saif Ali Khan and Deepika Padukone will appear as special guests on the fifth season of the game show Kaun Banega Crorepati, which starts off August 15 with megastar Amitabh Bachchan as the host.

"One interesting candidate and the entire anxiety of the working of the show just flies past .. we had a few today and tomorrow is another day .. let us hope that all goes well .. the second episode towards the evening will have invites to Saif and Deepika .. who come to promote their film and mine as well - Aarakshan !!!"Amitabh posted on his blog bigb.bigadda.com.

"In many ways, the philosophy of the film and that of KBC is quite similar. Given opportunity, even the lesser privileged shall prosper. Or at least have the capacity to prosper," he wrote.

However, Mumbai rains played spoilsport as the production unit had to stall the shooting of the show several times due to the noise of the rain.

"The rains have been incessant.. and so harsh that we had to stop shooting KBC at times, because of the noise factor. But all in all a most satisfying day ... harsh and hard, but satisfactory," Amitabh said.

Saif had previously appeared with actress Preity Zinta in the second season of the show, while Deepika came as a guest last year although she didn't play.

Bebo to revive Heroine ??

Filmmaker Madhur Bhandarkar has decided to revive his dream project Heroine, which he had shelved following the announcement of lead actor Aishwarya Rai Bachchan's pregnancy. Bhandarkar has approached Kareena Kapoor, 30, whom he had also tried to get on board before Ash, to play the main character — Mahi Khanna. On Monday, Madhur flew to Hyderabad to narrate the script to Bebo, who is there to spend time with beau Saif Ali Khan as he shoots for Cocktail.

A source close to the director says, “The production house, UTV, has a major hand in the move. They’ve spent Rs 50cr on the film’s publicity and aren’t willing to shelve it. Both Madhur and UTV spoke to Bebo and she agreed to a narration.”

When Kapoor was first offered the role last year, she and Bhandarkar reportedly fell out over creative differences. Bebo wasn’t in favour of her character's affair with a married actor as it bore resemblance to her real life affair with Saif, but the source says that things have now been “sorted out”. UTV however maintains, “there is nothing concrete to talk about, yet”.

Ahana Deol debut postponed..

The launch vehicle of Deol clan's youngest star-kid and Hema Malini's daughter Ahana Deol has been canned for now. She was to debut with Aparna Sen's modern day version of Romeo & Juliet.

This is not the first time that her debut Hindi venture did not seen light. Five years ago, Sen was to direct Hindi film Gulel with Abhishek Bachchan and Saif Ali Khan. The project got aborted for several reasons, one being Bipasha Basu's reluctance to play a mother.

Says a source, "Both Hemaji and Aparna wanted Prateik opposite Ahana. He possesses the sensitivity and vulnerability to portray a modern-day Romeo. And he matched Ahana's personality, too. They met him and things seemed to be working out. But finally, he begged off with the no-dates reason."

"It is true, for now Ahana's film with Aparna is not happening. We wanted Prateik for the male lead. But he says he has no dates," said Hema Malini.

It's a beautiful script and I want Aparna to make it with my daughter. Maybe now we'll do it with a completely new face. As soon as I finish releasing Esha's film Tell Me Oh Kkhuda I'll decide what to do."

For now Ahana will just have to wait for the right Romeo to fit into her dream of playing Juliet.

Globe-Trotting Family?

Actress Sonam Kapoor may be ruing the fact that her family is spread across different countries, leaving her home alone for the time being, but she is not the only one facing a similar problem.

In fact, while Sonam at least knows where her family members are, actor Soha Ali Khan says that there are times when she is not aware as to which continent her mom, sister, brother or dad are in. Only some time back, her brother, actor Saif Ali Khan was in Cannes for the international film festival, while her mom and she were in New York.

“We are such an independent family that we often don’t know where the other person is! It’s true,” she laughs. So, do they at least discuss their outings? “It depends. Bhai (Saif) told me that he was very excited to go to Cannes. But he was even more nervous that I was going to conduct an lecture at Harvard University. He kept on asking me what I was planning to say. But when he realized that mom was going to be with me, he calmed down,” she smiles.

The actress says that she didn’t get to ask her brother about how his Cannes visit went till about a few weeks after his return.
But Soha had a good time bonding with her mom (actor Sharmila Tagore) in the United States.

“We spent some quality time there, though it we were juggling a hectic schedule. New York had a great vibe. I made mom listen to my kind of music while we were there. We just walked around and I met some friends from University. Mom and I wined and dined too,” says Soha recalling her time spent with her mom.

Ask her what is she busy with now and Soha says that her upcoming film Soundtrack is taking up most of her time at the moment.

“The film is almost complete and apart from that I’ve been traveling across the country,” says Soha adding that she’ll probably also have to shoot for a promotional track for her film.

Saif and Kareena's relationship on the rocks?

The long-lasted romantic idyll between Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor has now been riven by work pressure, time constraints, and a few financial issues as well, we hear.

The buzz doing the rounds in the industry is that the romance between Saif and Kareena is going dry and the couple has been fighting more often than not. Many reasons are being ascribed to this fizzle-out. For one, it’s been speculated that Saif is peeved with Kareena for not sparing enough time for him.

Kareena has lately been busy with a number of projects and her date dairy for this year is chock-a-block. She’s been busy with Ra.One with Shahrukh Khan, Bodyguard with Salman Khan and Reema Kagti’s untitled film with Aamir Khan. Add to this the number of television commercials she has had to shoot and you can see why Kareena hasn’t been able to take out time for her man.

On the other hand, Saif is already unhappy over the delays in his home production Agent Vinod. On top of it, he’s been going through a financial crunch and has already axed down the film’s budget.

Rumours also suggest that Saif is not happy about having to splurge money on the holidays of Kareena’s family.

In fact, reports say that Kareena broke down while having a serious talk with Saif on the phone while she was on the sets of her film Bodyguard. Realizing that the relationship was on the rocks, Kareena dashed off to London not just for her Madame Tussauds wax statue (to be unveiled later this year) but also to appease Saif who’s shooting for Agent Vinod in London.

Mumbai is Home..

Giselli Monteiro, a Brazilian model who came to India to try her luck with assignments, never had acting on her agenda. She had come to Mumbai for a modeling assignment and landed up auditioning for the film Love Aaj Kal.

“Acting is something I never thought I’d end up doing. I auditioned thinking that I was wanted in the capacity of a model. Back then, I didn’t even know how big filmmaker Imtiaz Ali and actor Saif Ali Khan were in Bollywood. But I got chosen and since then I’ve just taken life as it comes. I don’t know if I am doing good work or bad work, all I know is I enjoy what I do. It’s exciting!”

After playing the demure, salwar-clad girl in Love Aaj Kal, she’ll now be seen in a modern avatar in her second film. “She is an average Indian girl, who dresses up like any otherteenager,” says the actor, who adds that she has no issues with skin show provided they are done aesthetically.

“I am extremely comfortable with my body as I have been a model. Besides,I don’t have too many reservations because as an actor you are playing someone else. I will do whatever my job demands of me.”

It’s been three years since Monteiro shifted base to Mumbai. “I like it here. I have been fortunate and lucky to have moved from a Saif Ali Khan to a Shah Rukh Khan home production. But I miss being home. The last time I went to Brazil was in December, but strangely when I go there, I miss Mumbai. Now Mumbai is my first home and Brazil, my second,” she says. “I miss my entire family a lot, but my boyfriend Marcos is here in Mumbai. He works here as well, but his only connection to films is me,” adds the Latina.

Prakash Jha's Aarakshan - First Look

Prakash Jha is back with another hard-hitting movie Aarakshan in which he has worked for the first time with the superstar Amitabh Bachchan, the versatile Saif Ali Khan and the gorgeous Deepika Padukone. As the name of the movie suggests, it’s based on the controversial issue of caste-based reservations in government jobs and educational institutions.

The movie is mostly shot in Bhopal. Aarakshan tells the story of Deepak, played by Saif, who is a Dalit, a bright person and a gifted teacher of a renowned college. Fate plays its role and he falls in love with Poorbie (Deepika Padukone) who is daughter of Dr.Prabhakar Anand (Amitabh Bachchan). Prabhakar Anand is the legendary idealistic man who runs the college. Another important character in the film is of Prateik Babbar, who is Saif’s good friend and a rich fellow.

When the court passes an order of 50% Reservation in India, these people's lives take a complete new turn. The movie promises to be high on drama, conflict and rebellion, which will test their love and friendship for each other.

Saif Ali Khan is proud to be a part of Aarakshan. He has been busy with his own home productions, but was always on the lookout for a chance to work with a director like Prakash Jha.

Kareena waxed..

First, London's Madame Tussauds's mails were flooded with mails from fans of Kareena Kapoor, requesting the museum to feature a wax replica of their heartthrob. Unable to refuse and understanding its necessary they approached the B-town lady to get her wax model done, thus letting her join the league of popular celebs whose wax statues are at Tussauds, including Big B, SRK, Salman, Hrithik and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan.

This also means she'll break the record of Aishwarya being the only Bollywood actress whose wax model is displayed at Tussauds.

Later came the news, as a blow to Bebo's fans that Kareena's wax model may not happen after all due to a row between her brand manager and Tussauds's event management company.

But now, it has been confirmed by our birdies close to the actress that the wax model is already done and she also made a check on it this week!

It is also said that the waxwork will be unveiled on our Independence Day, on August 15-16, that also involves Saif Ali Khan's birthday.

Looks like this Independence Day will be a treat to Bebo's fans worldwide..

Priyanka bonds with Saif ??

Priyanka Chopra is a friendly girl so recently when she was shooting at a studio no too far from where the Agent Vinod sets are, the actress decided to pay a visit to Saif Ali Khan and the rest of the gang. Luckily for her, Kareena Kapoor was not on set otherwise her brief tour and catch up with everyone may not have gone so smoothly.

Kareena is adamant that she has no problem with Priyanka being around Saif as she feels very secure in their relationship; Kareena does seem to be the only girl for Saif if their behavior is anything to go by but this doesn’t stop the animosity between the two girls.

Kareena and Priyanka Chopra have never been friends, in fact it seems as though they can barely tolerate each other with the final nail in the coffin being the alleged relationship that once was between Priyanka and Kareena’s ex Shahid Kapoor.

Saif to team up with "Parikrama"

Saif Ali Khan will strum the guitar again and also sing on stage. He is once again teaming up with his favourite rock band Parikrama to belt out a concert in New Delhi which he expects to be electrifying.

The actor reveals, "It's been a while that I have played in public. But I was waiting for the right moment when I would do something again with music. Parikrama is doing a new gig and I'm a part of it. Playing in Delhi is always great.

People understand rock, understand music much like the other metropolitan cities of India. I'm really looking forward and very, very excited to go to the rehearsals and then play my heart out on the big day. It's great that I'm going back on stage again."

When Ranveer met Saif !!

Ranveer Singh, who has the title of drama king in industry circles because he is so melodramatic when he meets stars/filmmakers, continues with his antics.

He has told the world that he likes Kareena Kapoor; and she's the one he idolised during puberty. What comes as a surprise though is that Ranveer actually broke into a song when he spotted Saif Ali Khan at his gymnasium.

Apparently, Ranveer told Saif about this particular song in his film Ladies v/s Ricky Bahl and then he went on to sing it and even did a little jig in front of the Junior Nawab of Pataudi. Saif, of course, applauded the young actor. It is not everyday that cool as a cucumber Saif bumps into the extra enthusiastic types like Ranveer.

Talks are that Saif is contemplating when to make the announcement public. We hear that the news will be made public post the release of "Agent Vinod", a movie close to Saif's heart.

We hear that Saifu has already popped the question and that he is ready to take the big leap into marriage. It is Kareena who has to revert with the date and time.

Kareena is known to have a great bond with Saifu's family.

Kareena tattoo still intact

Radio channels in Delhi reported this morning that Saif Ali Khan had lasered off the famous "Kareena" tattoo on his arm.

So has Love Aaj Kal lost the Aaj in it?

Rubbish, said a representative for the actor when contacted in Mumbai.

Just last month, Saif's mother, noted actor Sharmila Tagore, said that she's very fond of his girlfriend Kareena Kapoor, and that while she'd like to see the couple married, it's really upto them to decide when, since they are both professionals on top of their careers.

Kareena and Saif have been dating for almost three and a half years. Both say that while they look forward to getting married, they're both currently busy with their careers.

They're also co-starring in Agent Vinod, a new film being produced by Saif.

Saif to remove his "Kareena" tattoo

Kareena Kapoor is very upset these days as her beau Saif Ali Khan will soon remove ‘Kareena’ tattoo from his wrist. Saif inked the tattoo in his hand when his love for Bebo was at the peak. Though laser treatment, he is going to eliminate the tattoo from his wrist. It is believed that when Bebo learnt about Saif’s decision, she moved into tears.

Saif’s tattoo was very evident and he never tried to hide it even during his film shoots. He feels that it is a symbol of love and that he would never get rid of it. Now the question that arises is what went wrong with Saif that he all of a sudden decided to get rid of the tattoo.

It is also heard that Saif Ali Khan has found a new love and so he is going to eradicate ‘Kareena’ tattoo.

Soha-Kunal or Soha-Siddharth??

Soha Ali Khan and Kunal Khemu are one of the less secretive couples of B-town (Of course, Soha's taken a leaf out of bro Saif's book in that matter), but we might not see them together onscreen any time soon.

Their romance brewed after starring together in Dhoondte Reh Jaoge, but the gal isn't too comfy pairing up with her boyfriend once again. "People get bored of seeing and hearing about star couples in real life, no one wants to see the same combo onscreen", said Soha.

On probing further she said, "I'll wait for Saif and Bebo's chemistry to prove me wrong with Agent Vinod and then consider signing a film with Kunal". Well Soha, we're telling you, instead of wasting time you can swear by past examples. Even simpler, talk to bade bhaiyya, na.
