Nayan and Prabhu tight lipped about their big day

Nayantara and Prabhu Deva’s impeding wedding is the talk of the town but the couple remains tight-lipped on their nuptial. They are not ready to divulge any details of their wedding.

Recently, Nayantara flew down to Mumbai to meet her beau Prabhu Deva. It is believed that Nayan has come down to Mumbai to discuss marriage with Prabhu. Their wedding venue might be Mumbai or any other places apart from Chennai. Nayan and Prabhu wanted to keep their marriage a low-profile.

When the Tamil star was asked about her wedding, she prefers to keep mum and said that she would not like to discuss her personal life in public. Few days back, Nayantara converted into Hinduism.

Nayanthara's pays her beau a secret visit

Nayanthara, who recently converted to Hinduism and who is expected to marry actor-filmmaker Prabhu Deva shortly, is in Mumbai currently to spend time with her beau.



The dusky, long-haired actress, dressed nattily in a pair of black jeggings and a white summer blouse, who was in Kochi with her parents for the last week, boarded a flight to Mumbai a couple of days ago to spend time with Prabhu Devaa who is directing Akshay Kumar and Sonakshi Sinha in Rowdy Rathore. Speculation is rife that the couple will marry either in Mumbai or some place other than Chennai because they wish to keep their wedding a low-profile one. Sources insinuate that the two celebrities are actually here in Mumbai to finalize their wedding arrangements.



However, Nayan is reticent to discuss Prabhu with the media or anyone for that matter.



"I don't speak to the media for obvious reasons," says the attractive ex-No 1 of Tamil cinema, who was spotted managing her own luggage at the Mumbai airport.



"In fact, I prefer to keep a low profile and don't interact much with anyone except the people I am working with,'' she says. Well, well when you have a lot of awkward questions to answer then we guess keeping mum is the best thing.

Nayantara's Conversion: Criticism from Christian organization

Nayanthara’s decision to convert to Hinduism ahead of her marriage to Prabhudeva seems to have touched a few nerves here and there.



Speaking on behalf of a Christian organization its office bearer Inian John who stated that the news of Nayantara’s decision to convert to Hinduism came as a shock and caused much pain to him.

He added that Nayantara’s actions in the recent past have been totally against the principles of Christianity.



The Bible clearly forbids a Christian from coveting something that belongs to someone else.



According to Inian, Nayantara has incurred the wrath of the Lord by deciding to step away from Christianity, as said in the Bible.

"Nayantara would also have to incur the pain for the grief that she has brought upon Ramlath by deciding to marry Prabhudeva and it was evident that Nayantara was forced to convert to Hinduism by Prabhudeva," added Inian proving his point that such coercion is almost a criminal offence.

Nayantara is Diana Mariam Kurian no more!



According to the reports, Nayantara who often surprises us with her bold moves has converted to Hinduism. The proceedings took place at the Arya Samaj temple on Sunday and apparently it was a moving and very spiritual experience for the actress.



Nayantara christened as Diana Mariam Kurian has now adopted her screen name Nayantara to be her official name legally.



The actress was reluctant to talk about her conversion and refused to discuss Prabhu Deva or her impending marriage. But she has confirmed that she is now a Hindu and would only admit that the reason for the change was personal and that she arrived at this decision only after a lot of soul searching.

Sources say that Prabhu and Nayantara might tie the knot in a quiet ceremony by the end of this month, and this is the reason for her conversion.



There are also other reports that the couple may tie the knot in Mumbai to keep the paparazzi away.



It may also be recalled that Prabhu Deva's first wife had also converted from Islam to Hinduism and she changed her name from Ramlath to Latha.



Prabhu Deva is currently busy with two projects: Vedi in Tamil and Rowdy Rathore in Hindi.

Sameera's perfect match..

Sameera Reddy has made an impact in Tamil cinema but so far she has been unfortunate in finding the perfect onscreen match.

In her debut film, Vaaranam Aayiram, Divya Spandana gets Suriya. In Asal, she was part of a two heroine project with Bhavana, so she had limited screen time with Ajith. Then in Nadunissi Naigal, her boyfriend gets killed by a psychopath who is obsessed with her.

Sameera up next has Vettai with Arya and Maddy next, but that is also a two heroine project where she shares screen space with Amala Paul.

But finally, it seems her luck has changed and she will be seen opposite Vishal in Vedi which is her first solo heroine project. Besides, everybody is saying that they make a great couple as they are both tall and have dusky good looks.

Be it for her performances , her oomph quotient, or her personal life, Nayanthara has always made headlines.

But the only thing that Nayanthara, or Nayan as she's fondly called, is willing to talk about these days is her Telugu film, Sri Rama Rajyam, in which she plays Sita.

Shooting on the last day for the film was an emotional moment for Nayan. "I had grown completely attached to the unit. I can't describe in words the amount of love they showered on me. I have immense respect for Bapu sir. He's considered a living legend and I was initially unsure if I could live up to his expectations. But I'm glad he liked my work. I just couldn't control my emotions and tears on the last day," she says.

It's being reported that Sri Rama Rajyam is Nayan's last film and that she's quitting the film industry post this. She says, "I'd rather say I haven't signed on any new film. I'm going through a different phase in my life and I'm very happy with it. My priorities have changed now and I'm doing things that I've always wanted to."

With Prabhu Deva's divorce finally through, there's widespread speculation of their marriage . However, Nayan refuses to talk about him. She says, "I understand that a public figure is always under the glare of the media. But, I have my own life and I'd like to have my personal space and privacy. If there are any incidents in my life, I'd willingly tell my audience."

The magistrate at the family court in Chennai pronounced Prabhu Deva and Ramlath divorced on 7th July 2011. The couple, who married 15 years ago, filed for divorce on mutual agreement six months ago. Initially, Ramlath was not willing for the divorce, but she finally gave in after Prabhu Deva agreed to part with some properties and money.

With Prabhu getting his divorce, he is now free to marry his ladylove Nayanthara. The wedding is expected to take place anytime soon. It may be recalled that Nayan had quit movies to settle for marital bliss with Prabhu.

Nayantara's Retirement ?

Sri Rama Rajyam , a Telugu epic film based on Ramayana has Nandamuri Balakrishna playing the lead role as Lord Rama with Nayantara as his Sita.

Nayantara is reported to be very dedicated towards this role by being on a vrat during the entire shoot of this movie following a strict vegetarian diet. She has also been avoiding her 'Sweetheart' Prabhu Deva and other social events respecting the impact of her powerful role that is esteemed as the standard setter for wifely and womanly virtues for all Hindu women.

Nayantara may be grabbing the marital rights of Ramlath in real, but in reel, the actress is sincerely doing the role of Sita.While the shooting of this film is nearing completion, sources reveal that the actress is to announce her retirement once Sri Rama Rajyam is wrapped.

Wondering waddup with the Prabhu Deva directed, Vishal starrer project, tentatively titled Prabhakaran? Well, this film has reached the final schedule and the planning for it is now on.

The last leg of shoots will commence in the days to come and Prabhu is expected to wrap Prabhakaran so that he could begin work on a Hindi film that he has committed.

Vishal’s next film has created a lot of expectation as he has proved his mettle as an actor in the latest release Avan Ivan.

Pairing up with Vishal in Prabhakaran is Sameera Reddy and this film is touted to be an action thriller.

Raju Sundaram, the acclaimed choreographer and Prabhu Deva’s brother who directed Ajith Kumar in Aegan is all set to make his directorial debut in Telugu.

Megastar Chiranjeevi's younger brother Power Star Pawan Kalyan has asked him to direct his next film which has been scripted by S J Suryah.

Of course, Raju Sundaram was only happy to accept this offer and will be making preparations for the film and searching for a suitable heroine as the film might be a bilingual.

Even before her Engeyum Kadhal released, Hansika Motwani was signed up for Mapillai opposite Dhanush directed by Suraj. Mapillai produced by Sun Pictures was the remake of Superstar Rajinikanth's yesteryear film of the same name.

Though Hansika has done a few movies in Telugu as the lead, she became more famous and managed to steal the hearts of Tamil youngsters as well after the photos from Engeyum Kadhal were officially released by AGS and Prabhu Deva.

Engeyum Chaos ..

Jeyam Ravi's Engeyum Kadhal hit the screens today and he was spotted at Udhayam Theater near Ashok Pillar, Chennai to watch the movie and gauge his fans' reactions. But as soon as he entered the theater premises all hell broke loose as his fans rushed inside to get a glimpse and interact with their favourite star. When the security closed the doors to stop them from barging in, some of them broke the glass doors and entered.

Unable to control the situation they called for the police who immediately restored peace around the place. After all the chaos the star watched the movie along with his fans. Engeyum Kadhal stars Hansika Motwani opposite Jeyam Ravi and is directed by Prabhudeva. The songs are already chart busters and we hope the audience likes the movie too!

Nayantara and Salman ?

Salman Khan may next concentrate in the sequel to Wanted, the remake of the Tamil film Pokkiri that went on to become a big blockbuster.

Following its success, Salman requested Wanted’s director Prabhu Deva to consider recreating the magic with its sequel with new elements to meet the expectations.

Despite being busy in Kollywood, Prabhu had worked on the sequel of Wanted on Salman's request and it is expected to go on floors by end of this year.

It is rumored that Prabhu Deva’s sweet heart Nayantara will be paired up with Salman in the sequel. There is also speculation in Kollywood that Nayan may quit filmdom and settle for marital bliss after Prabhu obtains his divorce in June.

Speedy Gonzales

Producers are always delighted when directors finish their projects quickly and that is exactly what the producers of Vishal and Sameera Reddy’s untitled film are happy about.

Director Prabhudeva seems to be quick as a wink in finishing the project. Recently, he wanted to shoot an item song with Sophie Choudary and Vishal in Europe but he was denied visa. Not wanting to waste time, he came up with an idea of making a brilliant setting in Binny mills and completed that shoot.

It is said that he has shot almost 90% of the movie already in areas near Hyderabad.

The director wants to get over with his commitments by June so that he can marry Nayanthara in July without having to bother about other commitments.

We sincerely hope all this hurry doesn’t affect the quality of the movie.

Hansika Everywhere . .

Hansika Motwani was recently spotted at Tirupati on her temple visit to worship Lord Balaji. The actress, along with her parents had their Tirupati darshan late in the evening.

Before leaving Tirupati, Hansika met the media persons and answered their queries about her future projects and the reason for her visit to Tirupati.

"I am happy that my first film in Tamil 'Mappilai' has been well received by the audience and is already cheered up awaiting her next release 'Engeyum Kadhal' in the pipeline.

Engeyum Kadhal is directed by Prabhu Deva with Actor Jayam Ravi as her lead pair. The film would soon be released by Sun Pictures with the movie promos frequently aired across the globe. It cannot be denied that Sun picture not just helps love to reach everywhere but also Hansika, the gorgeous lass with Engeyum Kadhal that literally means Love Everywhere.

Prabhu Deva & Nayan's wedding

Prabhu Deva is working on transferring some of his properties to his wife Ramlath and sons. The property transfers should happen before June and he should submit the documents at the court before divorce. Based on these property transfers, he would be awarded the divorce.

Sources say that as soon as these property transfers are done, Prabhu Deva and Nayantara will begin the groundwork for their wedding. It is expected that the divorce case will come to an end in June and Prabhu and Nayan’s wedding will take place in July.

It is reported that the wedding will take place in Mumbai and the couple are planning to invite close family and friends.

Nayanthara to quit acting

In a recent interview in Hyderabad, south Indian actress Nayanthara has revealed that she is quitting movies after her ongoing Telugu film Sri Ramarajyam in which she plays the role of Sita.

“Sri Ramarajyam will be my last movie and based on Prabhu’s advice I am quitting movies,” Nayan was quoted as saying to Telugu media. Nayan is cast alongside legendary actors Akkineni Nageswara Rao and Balaiah in the movie.

Nayanthara further laughed off rumors that her relationship with beau Prabhu Deva is on the rocks. “These are just rumors. We are still together and we will announce our wedding soon,” she added. Prabhu’s divorce is likely to be through in the coming days and the couple has decided to announce their wedding after that.
