Drake Concert Riot: Videos Of Fights/ Chair Throwing & More!
Remember the concert Drake didn't show up to on his album release date?
Well over 20,000 still remember that day and posted up their videos of what happened.
I've told you that people were throwing chairs, flowers pots and whatever else they could find, but I dont think you have really get a good grasp of the situation until you watch these videos....
Check out two videos from the crowd below:
From what I'm hearing, it seems like NYC is still upset at Drake for not showing up to this concert. Even after it's been said that NYPD would not allow him to perform under such circumstances. Concert go-ers and New Yorkers say Drake's concert organizers should have known better. In addition, Drake did not show up to any album release parties that were set up for that night and some of the NY music industry is just not feeling it...he went from Drake to Aubrey from Degrassi and even they started nicknaming him "Flake"
My question to you is,
DO YOU THINK DRAKE AND HIS PEOPLE ARE TO BLAME HERE?!
MISSED THE ORIGINAL STORY?? I GOT YOU...

Drake Gets 10,000 Fans To Show For Free NYC Concert- NYPD Shuts It Down! Find out why!
Updated: Over 20,000 people showed up!
(Drake at his CD Release signing at Best Buy in NYC, earlier on Tuesday..
why must he always wear a grey sweatshirt?? ughh lol)
Senseless violence made NYPD shut down Drake's FREE concert, Tuesday night, on the South Street Seaport in NYC!
Over 10,000 people showed up, which caused a lot of drama, prompting police to pull the plug on the show before the rap phenom ever had a chance to grab a mic.
The raucous crowd massed on the Seaport's cobble-stoned streets spun out of control as opening act Ninjasonik performed.
Johnson and her 6-year-old daughter were among thousands who turned out for the free show, part of a publicity blitz marking the release of the up-and-coming Canadian rapper's debut album, "Thank Me Later."
Arroyo said the scene turned into "a madhouse" as people on the street began firing plastic bottles and "any object they could find" at the flower-pot-hurlers.
The smiley-faced Drake was anything but after his gig was canceled, telling the Daily News the NYPD put the kibosh on the festivities due to "overcrowding."
He also took it to Twitter:

Police officials said they received a flurry of 911 calls, but they would not immediately confirm Drake's claim that cops cleared the stage and sent thousands of fans packing.
Johnson said her daughter was devastated she didn't get to seeDrizzy star perform.
Earlier that day, more than 500 crazed Drake fans lined up to meet the Lil' Wayne protégé at his album release inside the Best Buy store at Union Square.

The ladies love Drake!

The raucous crowd massed on the Seaport's cobble-stoned streets spun out of control as opening act Ninjasonik performed.
"Everybody was pushing up, trying to get to the front,"said Tamika Johnson, 31, of East New York, Brooklyn.
Johnson and her 6-year-old daughter were among thousands who turned out for the free show, part of a publicity blitz marking the release of the up-and-coming Canadian rapper's debut album, "Thank Me Later."
"People in the front started leaving because they were getting crushed,"Johnson said.
"Then they started throwing bottles from the balconies."
Fights broke out as rowdies tossed flower pots from the upper floors of the Seaport down onto the crowd on the street, said Jasmine Arroyo, 23, of Brooklyn. You can actually see the flower pots on the balconies they are referring to in the above photo.
Arroyo said the scene turned into "a madhouse" as people on the street began firing plastic bottles and "any object they could find" at the flower-pot-hurlers.
"A lot of people were drunk and falling down ... fistfights within the crowds,"she said.
"There were people jumping onto token booths and hopping over fences."
The smiley-faced Drake was anything but after his gig was canceled, telling the Daily News the NYPD put the kibosh on the festivities due to "overcrowding."
"I am humbled by the crowd that showed up in support of my performance,"he said through his spokeswoman.
"Unfortunately, the show was canceled by the NYPD due to overcrowding, leaving me without the chance to give my fans a real show."
He also took it to Twitter:
Police officials said they received a flurry of 911 calls, but they would not immediately confirm Drake's claim that cops cleared the stage and sent thousands of fans packing.
Johnson said.
"The crowd wasn't going anywhere,"
"If he would have came out, that would have calmed everything down."
Johnson said her daughter was devastated she didn't get to seeDrizzy star perform.
"She started crying because he didn't come out,"Johnson said.
"She got dried up tears on her face."

Drake Says He Is Continuing To Work w/ Kanye West On New Album Despite Previous Failed Video Attempt...

Some of Drake's recordings will be produced by Kanye West — they've already made music for the album and have plans to connect for a last time before Thank Me Later closes up shop. All those conspiracy theorists who claimed that Kanye sabotaged Drake when he directed the video for "Best I Ever Had" can close out that argument as well — Drake maintains the video is exactly what he wanted, he just wished he could have shot it with a bigger budget.
"I don't really care about catching flack," Drake said about fans that were less than pleased with the video collaboration. "Everybody is not gonna love everything we do ...
"That'll never stop me and Kanye from working together," he added. "Me and Kanye, when we do come together, it's great. We have great chemistry. That definitely won't halt us from giving people what they deserve. In a couple of weeks I'm going to Hawaii so I can work with him and No ID some more."When asked about the songs they already have in the can, Drake said they were so dope they didn't need hyping.
"It's not much to say — we got some great songs," he noted. "Kanye just brought extra brushes to the painting session. He just brought some more colors so we can complete this masterpiece. I know he's eager to complete his record too, so he's back in that music mode which is great. He was in clothing mode for a second ... now I think he's back and ready to make this all happen."

Drake's Album Pushed Back!
Young Money’s resident all-star and now a Grammy nominated rapper, Drake, is leaking more details on his highly anticipated debut. As previously reported, Drake had the world up in arms waiting for him to release Thank Me Later on Valentine’s Day of 2010. Now unfortunately for stans of Young Money’s Young Angel, that alleged February 14 release date is no more.In a brief interview with MTV News he told the network that the release date had been changed to March. Remaining skimp on details he shared saying,
“Well I’m making great progress on it. I’m hoping for March now. It’s just pulling everybody together.”
Drake also mentioned that he had lineup of people he hoped to work with including the famed soul jazz band featuring vocalist Sade Adu, Sade. Moving back into the standard Hip-Hop references, he dished on upcoming features on the album with Jeezy, Kanye and of course, his brother Wayne.
“I had a wish list for my managers of everybody I wanted involved that stem beyond hip-hop. I’m trying to pull it all together. I’m really trying to work with Sade, Lil Wayne will be on it. Young Jeezy, Jay-Z, Kanye will be doing work on it. It’s in the family.”
