Snoop Dogg Signs Group, Cypress Hills!

Rap mogul Snoop Dogg has made his first big move as a record company executive he has signed "Cypress Hill" to Priority Records.

The new creative chairman of the label plans to "open up the doors to new talent as well as turning back time on the old talent - the N.W.As, the The D.O.C.s, the Ice Cubes; the records that made the west coat (of America) what it is", and his first major deal is a big deal.

He says, "I just signed west coast's finest off the east side (of Los Angeles) Cypress Hill."

Snoop and Cypress Hill made the announcement on yesterday’s Lopez Tonight show.

Snoop was handed the reins to Priority Records last year in the hopes that he could help bring the famed West Coast label — which featured artists like N.W.A, Ice Cube and Eazy-E — back to prominence. Snoop didn’t have to look far for his first signing, since Cypress Hill have been rap staples from Los Angeles’ South Gate for over 20 years. Other rockers rumored to be featured on Rise Up include Slash and Linkin Park’s Mike Shinoda.

Snoop Dogg Bakes Green Brownies w/ Martha Stewart [VIDEO]

In case you missed it: Just when we thought 2009 couldn't get any crazier...West coast rapper Snoop Dogg was teaching the world how to bake "green brownies" on an episode of ‘The Martha Stewart Show!" lol

During the show, Snoop Dogg gave Martha Stewart the 411 on his previous work ethnic when he joked about knowing his way around a kitchen after saying that he used to work at McDonalds and made Egg McMuffins.

As the two mixed ingredients for their brownies, Martha Stewart allured Snoop Dogg into rapping as they continued.

“Can’t you rap when we’re doing this? Tell me what you’re doing when you rap,” says Martha Stewart.

Snoop Dogg in his cool demeanor raps about the brownies adding in “no sticks, no seeds, no stems,” which makes Stewart ask him if he wants green brownies.

“Especially if it’s green, especially if it’s green,” Martha Stewart adds to Snoop Dogg’s rhyme. (lolllllll)

Check out Snoop Dogg and Martha Stewart in the kitchen baking green brownies.

Snoop Apologizes To Soulja Boy.

Rap veteran Snoop Dogg has displayed his respect for teenie bopper, Soulja Boy Tell Em and asked the rapper for forgiveness over his initial prejudice of the emcee's talent.

In addition to supporting Soulja Boy, Snoop said it was vital for all generations of rappers to unite for hip-hop.

"N*ggas was always hatin' on a n*gga when he come out," Snoop said in a video. "They hate on everybody. But when you see a n*gga really know what he doing and it's your craft and you come hit after hit after hit, n*gga can't do nothing but say 'Man, I'm sorry for hating on you, you'se a real n*gga. You hear to stay.' Soulja Boy, we come from two different worlds, we different generations and what not, but we come together right now to unite and show love -- I apologize for all the hate that I had towards Soulja Boy, towards what he was doing in the beginning of his career -- as a man, what I understand what this man is and what else he's doing and how he's doing what he's doing, I support him, wrap my arms around him and love him. And I give him the same love I give my family members. So it's all about bridging the gap and showing love."
