The latest news circulating in Kollywood is that Rajinikanth has decided to take in Vadivelu amongst the star cast for Rana. According to sources in Kollywood, Rajini agreed to include Vadivelu in Rana’s star cast as he is on the verge of being sidelined by several in the film fraternity.
Vadivelu’s statement regarding Rana during the elections and his comment about Vijaykanth had irked Rajini and he had requested director KS Ravi Kumar not to offer the comedian role to him.
With Vadivelu regretting his statement, sources now say that both Ganja Karuppu and Vadivelu would remain in the project although Ganja Karuppu was signed up for the role instead of Vadivelu.
