Tamannah wants Vikram..

Vikram has once again proved himself to be a versatile actor in Deiva Thirumagal.

Vikram's histrionics has again won him rave reviews and naturally almost all the actresses in the Tamil film industry are vying to share the screen space with him.

One such actress is Tamannah.

Tamannah in a recent interview has said that she wishes to play Vikram’s onscreen pair in one of this future projects.

Tamannah has paired up with almost all the leading stars in Kollywood including Dhanush, Vijay, Karthi, Suriya and Jayam Ravi but she never got the opportunity to star with Vikram.

Following the massive hit of Deiva Thirumagal, she has let word circulating that she is keen on working with Vikram.

Tamannah's skin show..

Milk white beauty Tamannah shocked everyone with her skin show in Badrinath.

Tammannah, although she didn’t do any sleazy scenes managed to do her best to reveal as much possible exposing her midriff throughout the film without leaving much to the imagination.

Tamannah got drenched in the rain, clad in mini skirts and what not? This is her best skin show till date, say observers. But sadly, Tamanna’s show didn’t pay off much as the film has being written off by one and all despite the film's good collections in the first weekend that was likely to get fizzled out in the coming days.

Badrinath is a very high budget movie and such talk will not help its prospects. However, Tamanna has seen that this film doesn’t do much damage to her glowing career. She has Oosaravelli and Racha in the pipeline and that means she could happily wait for those films to strike the screens.

Tamil's future in Tamil cinema..

Tamannah's latest film in Tamil is Venghai with Dhanush in the lead and it is to be noted that she does not have any more projects on her hand.

Tammannah, however seems to have shifted her focus entirely to the Telugu film industry, where she has three films with one of them opposite Chiranjeevi's son Ran Charan Teja.

Tamanna has said that it was not a planned move and she just got better roles in the Telugu film industry after delivering back to back hits with 100 Percent Love and Badrinath. She will be busy shooting for these films this year but next year she intends to consolidate her position in Tamil cinema.

Apparently Venghai got her good reviews and she feels confident that she will start getting good offers on the strength of her performance. She credited both Hari and good friend Dhanush for the help and support they gave her.

No bikinies or liplocks

Tamannah Bhatia seems to dropped off the radar in K’town of late? Though rumour mongers may attribute diverse reasons for her disappearance from the Tamil scene, the actress opened up in an exclusive chat.

“Where could I have gone? My next Tamil flick Vengai, with Dhanush is ready for its release and Hari sir has given me a beautiful role in the movie. I play a simple-looking college girl from a small town. It’s a typical mass entertainer”.

The Sirutthai girl says her call sheet diary is full for the entire year with Tollywood movies. “It is just that I got busy with Telugu films. I am happy with my recent film, 100% Love with Naga Chaitanya, which was a simple love story with lots of interesting and cute twists. My next film, Badrinath with Allu Arjun is also wrapped and will soon hit the cinema halls”, she adds.

Looking at the sizzling promo stills, one wonders whether Tamannah was game for a skin show in T’town. “Oh no,” she denies any such notion and continues, “The movie is set against a temple backdrop and Allu Arjun plays an Indian Samurai. It is just the song sequences where I wear glam outfits.”

According to sources, the movie has set new records at the box-office in Kerala. ‘Bunny’ as Allu Arjun’s friends call him, enjoys a big market in God’s own country.

The Malayalam dubbing rights are said to have been sold for a record breaking 1.10 crore rupees and the movie is being released in Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam simultaneously.

Is she dubbing her own voice like she did for 100% Love? “Dubbing my voice in Telugu or Tamil is a time-consuming process since I take a long time to master the language spoken in each film. So, when there’s a lineup of movies, I can’t do justice to each one.”

Even before its commencement, Rachcha, her next flick with Ram Charan Teja, has generated a lot of buzz in tinsel town. Grapevine has it that Tamannah is going to expose her svelte bod to the hilt by sporting a bikini in Rachcha. Industry pundits add that Ram Charan will be flaunting an 8-pack physique. Add Tamannah’s oomph factor and it will be an entertainment unlimited. The pretty girl laughs it off as a ‘pure unadulterated rumour’.

“I guess the producers who approach me for a film know very well that I have a couple of pre-conditions in the contract itself and that I will never sport a bikini or act in an explicit kissing scene. This will probably clear yet another baseless rumour that I will be doing a lip-lock with Jr NTR in my upcoming film Ooseravalli,” asserts the ravishing girl.

There is another film which Tamannah has signed with Ram as the hero, it’s called Mana Love Story. As of now, Tamanaah is going great guns in T’town!

Dare to bare . .

Tamannah has gone for a bold new look in her recent Telugu films and got name and fame getting involved into trouble for her film 100% Love having dared to go bare.

The trailer of the upcoming Badrinath that has Allu Arjun paired opposite her gas already created raves about her sexy looks. The film which would also be released in Tamil has Tamannah looking sexier than ever and it seems that she had no qualms about baring it all.

When quizzed about it, she said that she reveals only as much as she is comfortable with and that with her body she can carry off sexy clothes.

Tamannah’s next Tamil film is Vengai with Dhanush and she plays a demure half-sari clad belle in the film. But there are always songs with sexy attires that her fans of the opposite sex can look forward to!

Tamanna back with "Venghai"

Though she is from north and is a Punjabi, south actress Tamanna is immensely popular and now boasts of a huge list of devoted fans. Tamanna enjoys the status of being one of the most sought after actresses in South film industry. So, whether it’s Tamil or a Telugu film, Tamanna has the best of both worlds.

Her latest Telugu release 100% Love has opened to a good response and she will next be seen with Allu Arjun in the mega budget film Badrinath, but most of her fans are waiting for her masala film Venghai for which she is paired with Dhanush for the first time.

Director Hari is back with another hardcore entertainer after Singham. “The one line story of Venghai is simple and straight forward,” says Hari. “I have worked on the premise that if a security guard takes an aruval it is ok as it is part of his job. But an angry young man should never handle such a weapon.”

The movie is expected to hit the theaters soon.

Youth Appeal

Geetha Arts' 100% Love has been passed by censors with U certificate and the film is slated for May 6th release. "The music, scored by Devi Sri Prasad, is already on the chartbusters. We've wrapped up the film on schedule, thanks to the efforts of the entire unit. The film's sturdiest strength is in the pairing of Naga Chaitanya and Tamanna," informs presenter Allu Aravind.

Bunnyvas, who is making his debut as a producer with this film, is confident of the film's success. He says, "100% Love is an entertaining love story. It will appeal mainly to the youth. We have been receiving overwhelming response to the music. The film was completed within the budget and it will surely be a hit."

Tamannah back in Tollywood

Tamannah Bhatia hasn't signed any Telugu films after Koncham Ishtam Koncham Kashtam. Now after a brief hiatus, she is all geared to bounce back with not one but three projects - 100% Love, Badrinath and Oosaravelli. "All the characters are beautifully thought out and different from each other," quips the Sindhi beauty. 100% Love will release first [sometime in the first week of May], followed by Badrinath and Oosaravelli.

When asked about her role in 100% Love, Tamanna says, "I have always wanted to play a character like this. The name of my character is Mahalakshmi and Chaitu's character's name is Balu. We keep fighting with each other. How love blossoms between us and how we go about our new-found love forms the crux of the story. I liked the way Sukumar etched the characters. It's a film that I am proud to be a part of. It'll be one of my first films which I'll watch many times."

Tamannah's New Endorsement . .

Tamannaahh is the brand ambassador for many products and one among them used to be Power soap. The actress recently filed a petition at the Madras High Court seeking the court’s intervention to have a stay on the Power soap ads that featured her.

According to Tamannaahh, she entered into a contract with the Power soap only for a year but the company has been using the advertisement for more than a year. The actress has stated that she is unable to sign new contracts due to this.

Sources close to the actress say that she has been approached by a big soap brand to endorse their products and did not sign her because of the ads that still shows Tamannaah endorsing another soap brand ( Power Soap ) is still being telecast across the globe.

This has resulted to be a huge loss to actress Tamannaahh and the actress got the Chennai Highcourt restrain Power Soaps from using her star image for marketting their products with her ad films or photographs.

Naga Chaitanya in "100 % Love"

The new lover boy of Telugu cinema Naga Chaitanya has paired up for the first time with the beautiful Tamanna for the romantic film 100% Love which is produced by Geeta Arts. There was a lot of speculation about the film as it was not getting the suitable title. The working title of the film, however, was strangely called Production 31.

Director Sukumar of Arya fame has directed the film and after considering several titles finally named the movie '100% Love'. The producers say this is a 100 percent apt title for the movie’s theme and story. Allu Aravind’s Geeta Arts, after delivering blockbuster after blockbuster like Jalsa, Ghajini and Magadheera are expecting the film to get a bumper start.

The music of the film is by music director Devisri Prasad and its audio was launched recently on the occasion of Ugadi. Youngsters are loving the music of the film as well as its look. Newcomer Tara Alisha, a girl from Bangalore, plays the second lead in the film.

Tamanna and Naga’s cute and smashing chemistry is the USP of the film. Both play college-goers who fall in love with each other. The movie is releasing this April 29.

Sacrifice for Tollywood

Tamanna who made her debut in Tollywood has always a special place in her heart for Telugu cinema. Despite being worshipped and made a star by Tamil audience, she has always preferred to be in Telugu cinema industry.

However, it took a while for her Happy Days to start in Tollywood. Now, Tamanna’s time has come and she is right now ringing with plum offers. Tamanna’s 100% Love and Badrinath are gearing up for summer release.

She is also playing the heroine roles in NTR’s Rachcha and Ram’s Mana Love Story movies. Recently, she was roped into play Ram Charan’s love interest in Sampath Nandi’s film. With Tollywood dreams finally coming true, Tamanna has deliberately put Kollywood aside. She has just one Tamil film, Venghai on her hands at the moment.
