Going under the Knife?

So which B-town actress was made the surgical victim? It was none other than Shilpa Shetty who’s previously been questioned about going under the knife, but denied all reports.

Nevertheless nothing is hidden in showbiz, especially when co-star Anil Kapoor had rewarded Shilpa Shetty as 'the worst case of botox' on Karan Johar's chat show. But he didn’t stop there, as he went onto telling the world about how Shilpa’s lip and nose job affected the continuity of his film Badhai Ho Badhai.

Though we can understand a directors concerns, Shilpa was reported to be feeling very upset about Anil’s statement made after 8 long years and that on national television.
The two actors haven’t spoken ever since, however daughter Sonam was the one that wanted to settle this matter once and for all.

Recently, Shilpa Shetty with hubby Raj Kundra was dining at a restaurant in Mumbai, Sonam and her sister Rhea happen to be there too and even made an appoint to walk up to Shilpa’s table and reports claim, Shilpa and Sonam met like long lost friends.

Whether or not Papa Anil Kapoor came up in their conversation is still a mystery; however Shilpa and Raj didn’t leave the restaurant without saying goodbye to Sonam. While Papa Anil Kapoor stays unaffected about the whole situation, Sonam showed her senior some respect and even advised her on some of the restaurant’s best dishes.

Do you think Anil should take notes from his daughter and stop acting so childish? Or did Shilpa deserve the comments?

Adieu to Bollywood?

Shamita will be packing her bags and moving to London. Sister Shilpa tells us more, ‘Shamita is now entering another phase in her life and career, and she is now heading to London for a six month course in interior designing. We felt all this was the right move for her to make.’

Having said this, Shilpa hasn’t herself appeared in any Bollywood movies since her marriage and the star claims that she enjoys being a housewife rather than having to rush to the studios early morning.

Shamita definitely made a dream debut with Mohabbaetin in 2000, but the actress struggled to gain popularity. Was it for her bold attitude or the wrong choice of movies, who knows? We guess the actress just wasn’t cut out for what her sister does best.

We wish Shamita all the best in her new venture and believe that she is making the right move. At the same time we can’t help but wish that many other B-town actresses who are out of work also do the same.

Although we wouldn’t want to leak any names just yet, who do you think should be axed from the world of Bollywood?

Shamita Shetty quits stardom

Shilpa Shetty's kid-sister, Shamita Shetty, after not being able to find a foothold in Bollywood, has decided to take off to London to in search of another calling.

Reveals Shilpa, "Shamita is now entering another phase in her life and career. She is now heading to London for a six-month course in interior designing. We all felt this was the right move for her to make."

Significantly, Shamita moves to another career at a time when Shilpa herself has taken a sabbatical of sorts from acting. However, in her case, it is voluntary.

Explains Shilpa, "At the moment, I'm playing the most satisfying role of my life - that of a housewife. Films were never the be-all-end-all of my life. Right now I find the idea of looking after my home far more exciting and challenging than rushing off to studios early morning."

Guess it is never easy being a star-sibling. Except sisters Kareena and Karishma Kapoor there are hardly any siblings, both of who have made it big in Bollywood.

Shilpa Shetty is PREGNANT !!

Raj Kundra and Shilpa Shetty have something other than Rajasthan Royals' victories this IPL to cheer for.

The couple, who tied the knot after a two year long courtship on November 22, 2009, are ready to welcome a new member in their family.

While this is a first for Shilpa, Kundra already knows what it's like to be a parent. The entrepreneur, who was formerly married to Kavita, is father to daughter Deleena, born on September 9, 2006.

Reportedly, Shilpa has wanted to be a parent for a very long time. In a media report, in 2009, she said, "I'm desperate to start a family. I just love children, and we've a beautiful readymade nursery (in the new house). I want at least two children.

There is already a child's bedroom here because Raj has a nephew and I can certainly see my children running around this place.

And there is enough space for us to live at one end while Raj's parents live at the other." And this was even before she got married!

Well, it looks like her dreams are materialising as the actress has been spotted at several clinics around the city. Our source confirmed, "Shilpa is expecting and the couple are extremely happy.

Only the close family members and friends have been informed of the new arrival. They do not want to announce it publicly before the first trimester passes."

Shilpa, who shot to fame in the UK after she won the celebrity Big Brother, married Raj in November 2009.

The couple went on to buy a share in the Rajasthan Royals team of the IPL and have devoted their attention to the game ever since, until now that is.

Despite repeated text messages and calls, both Shilpa and Raj Kundra remained unavailable for comment.

Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty found it hard to control her emotions after India won the cricket World Cup Saturday. She broke down in tears when she saw Yuvraj cry.

'I can't control my emotions!! Yay India won. It's a wonderful feeling. It was an emotional moment. When I saw Yuvraj (Singh) cry, I also started crying because I have experienced this myself,' Shilpa, who owns Indian Premier League team Rajasthan Royals, told a news channel.

'The way India played together with maturity was superb,' said the 35-year-old actress.

She even recalled the day when India had won the World Cup title in 1983, saying her father had also cried at that time.

'We were very small when India won its first World Cup 28 years back, but I remember my father had also cried at that time. All those emotions came back one again.'
