THE WHISTLEBLOWER is a superb new thriller by Canadian director Larysa Kondracki that stars Rachel Weisz in a widely praised performance.

Inspired by actual events, Academy Award winner Rachel Weisz plays Kathryn Bolkovac, an American police officer risks her job and her own safety to uncover and bring to light a wide-scale, child sex-slave and human-trafficking scandal involving U.S. military contractors and the United Nations in postwar Bosnia.

Her expectations of helping to rebuild a devastated country are dashed when she uncovers a dangerous reality of corruption, cover-up and intrigue amid a world of private contractors and multinational diplomatic doubletalk.

Directed by first time filmmaker Larysa Kondracki, the film that also stars Academy Award winner Vanessa Redgrave, Monica Bellucci and Academy Award nominee David Strathairn would premiere in theatres August 5th.

Daniel Craig excited his next James Bond film

Actor Daniel Craig is extremely upbeat about starting work on his third James Bond movie.

The 43-year-old had appeared in the last 007 film Quantum of Solace, which released in 2008.

"We've got a script, it's fantastic. I'm gagging to go, I've had a break now. Although it sort of seemed like it was never going to happen, it always was going to happen--it was just a matter of sorting out people and financing. We start shooting October or November this year," thesun.co.uk quoted Craig as saying.

In the past three years, the actor has been busy with Cowboys & Aliens and forthcoming thriller Dream House, thanks to which he met his new wife, Rachel Weisz.

After tying the knot in a secret ceremony in New York last month, Craig is now awaiting to reprise his role as the super spy in the 23rd installment of the Bond series.

"It's been nice to have some time off from the role, it's given me a chance to have a break," he said.

The yet-to-be-titled movie will be directed by Sam Mendes. It is expected to hit screens in October 2012.

Hush hush wedding..

It has emerged that James Bond star Daniel Craig and his girlfriend Rachel Weisz have tied the knot evading the public eyes in an undercover ceremony.

According to reports, the pair got married secretly in New York State last week in front of just four people.

The guests included Daniel's daughter Ella ,18 and Rachel’s son Henry, 4 along with two other family friends who acted as witnesses.

"Daniel and Rachel insisted on having a small, quiet wedding. They are madly in love and couldn’t wait to be husband and wife - but they wanted minimum fuss," quoted our source.

The pair has always kept their relationship undercover since they got together last year on the set of forthcoming movie The Dream House.
