Wedding on the cards for Neha Dhupia

Is marriage on the cards? Most of our actresses dread this question, but then they shock us with their surprise big, fat weddings. Actress Neha Dhupia is going to be the next on the list of the hot married Bollywood babes.

The bombshell is thinking of walking down the aisle. As per reports, if things go as planned, then Neha Dhupia might tie the knot with her Colombian beau Jimmy by the spring of next year. Neha, who has earlier dated Squash champion Ritwik Bhattacharya for almost six years, started seeing Jimmy after her break-up with Ritwik.

The actress thinks that this is the right time to get married and in Jimmy she has found a perfect partner. But Neha doesn’t want to comment on this matter. As for now she has a film Gandhi To Hitler lined up for release, and she is concentrating on it.

Neha apparently wants a beach wedding for herself.

Language is rudimentary: Neha Dhupia

Neha Dhupia is back in the news again for the argument she has put forth regarding her upcoming film From Gandhi To Hitler.

It seems that some critics have lashed out at the film for certain linguistic issues. And to counter them, the actress has raised a question that if illiterate characters are shown speaking in English in Slumdog Millionaire, then why can’t her character in FGTH speak Hindi although she plays a German.

“We haven’t spoken German throughout the film because we didn’t feel the need to. I don’t think anyone heeded when the uneducated, poor characters in Slumdog Millionaire spoke fluent English. I am not saying we should have objected to that. But then if we accepted that, there is no reason why Hitler or Eva can’t speak in Hindi. After all, once you are 10 minutes into a film, language becomes rudimentary,” says Neha who plays Eva Braun, Hitler’s wife.

This is Neha’s first-ever biopic, that too one where she essays the challenging role of Hitler’s lover and wife for 40 hours. The film brings alive the last few days of the dictator’s life when he spent some heartfelt moments with Eva.

She strongly defends the makers of the film who didn’t compromise on any account at the cost of the product.

“In an industry, where everyone makes a rom-com the moment they have the money, hats off to my directors who chose to take a different road. It is so unfair when instead of coming out with good support for such ventures, some of us are being critical on flimsy grounds. Can we not get trapped in this mentality please?”

Will her please go some way in saving her failing career? We can only wait and watch as the drama unfolds.

Sequel to the Comedies . .

For many years, the buzz about the sequel of ‘Kya Kool Hai Hum’ has been making rounds. Finally, we have producer Ekta Kapoor putting an end to the speculations by making an official announcement on the sequel. Sources reveal that soon after the success of ‘Kya Kool Hai Hum’, the makers were looking for a good script that will serve as a sequel to this hit.

After considering many scripts, writer-filmmaker Sachin Yardi seems to have impressed Ekta and her actor brother Tusshar Kapoor. The sequel titled ‘Kya Kool Hai Hum 2’ will have Tusshar Kapoor and Riteish Deshmukh in lead roles while rest of the cast and crew is yet to be finalized.

Although Sachin’s debut directorial ‘C Kkompany’ produced by Ekta turned out to be a box office disaster, she hasn’t lost hope in him. Let’s wish the team comes up with another stunning laughter-riot.

Miss India contest winners have made it a trend of sorts, the first complete at the India level opposition then those who qualify for the international opposition inevitably end up acting in Bollywood flicks. Her first Bollywood movie was Harry Baweja’s ‘Qayamat: City Under Threat’ that released in 2003 and gave this attractive Indian actress a booming start to her acting career. It was an action packed brush with slick & chic girls like Isha Koppikar and debutant Neha Dhupia acting along side the macho men of Bollywood movies such as Sunil Shetty, Sanjay Kapoor, Ajay Devgan and Arbaaz Khan. It was a multi-starrer movie that found good success at the box office. But she gained nation wide standing when she starred in the hot and happening movie ‘Julie’ and gave her the status of a Sex Symbol. Neha has starred in some really bad movie but in between she has chosen the right movies as well and these good movies have kept her career in Bollywood afloat. Movies like ‘Rakht’, ‘Miss India’, ‘Sheesha’, ‘Siskiyaan’ and other have been no showers and are better to be away from.
But she has acted in some good movies that are worth mentioning, after the achievement of her debut movie her next box office came in 2005 when she starred in the movie ‘Kya Kool Hai Hum’ starring a string of new actors looking to institute their Bollywood careers like Tusshar Kapoor, Ritesh Deshmukh, Isha Koppikar and herself. It’s a movie about 2 young boys trying to find rich girls as their love consciousness so that they do not have to struggle to have a luxurious life. The movie is an out and out comedy which was like by the audiences and proved to be the surprising hit of that year. In the same year she acted in one more comedy movie but this time she was cast along with two of Bollywood’s well-known actors, one the versatile Akshay Kumar and the other being the dashing John Abraham in the Bollywood flick ‘Garam Masala. This too was a comedy movie and had the cash registers drumming.

Hot Neha
In 2006 she starred in the Priyadasrshan directed movie ‘Chup Chup Ke’ where she plays the role of being the sister of a deaf & mute Kareena Kapoor whose love interest in the movie is Shahid Kapoor. This move too did well at the box office and brought Neha much needed success. She has also acted in the achievement movie ‘Shootout at Lokhandwala’ which released in the year 2007.
Without a doubt she is a beautiful actress but beautiful gives you no marks when it come to acting, she can act too but she really necessities make the right choices to move up the ladder of success in Bollywood movies.
