The Order of the Seven

Hollywood's dueling "Snow White" projects continue, with Disney in negotiations with a director for its live-action "Order of the Seven," The Wrap has confirmed.

The studio is in talks with Michael Gracey for its unusual take on the "Snow White" tale that it made famous with its 1937 landmark cartoon.

The new movie, originally titled "Snow and the Seven," sets the story in China, and "the seven" aren't dwarfs but members of an order of warriors who meet up with an English woman and protect her from an ancient evil.

Two other "Snow White" projects are now under production and is dueling to prove the best.

Snow White project from Relativity is directed by Tarsem Singh with Lily Collins as Snow White while another from Universal with Kristen Stewart as Snow White is directed by Rupert Sanders. With both these films slated to release in 2012, Disney's "The Order of the Seven" is scheduled for a 2013 release.

The Brothers Grimm: Snow White

The most awaited sneak peek from one of the two Snow Whites who'll be on the big screen in 2012: the exclusive look at Lily Collins as the famously fair heroine, in full royal regalia!

The photo is all the proof we needed that this "Snow White" (as opposed to the grittier "Snow White and the Huntsman," starring Kristen Stewart) is a pure pretty princess.

Lily herself took the time to gush enthusiastically over the glamorous costumes, and, I mean, just look at those sleeves.

But don't let her shell-shocked expression fool you — the actress wants you to know that the froufy dress won't stop Snow from getting down and dirty, as the film sees her shed her passive fairy-tale persona and come out swinging before the credits roll.

Sound off on this sneak peek at Lily Collins as Snow White and tell us what you think.

Lily will grace the silver screen next in September's action thriller "Abduction," co-starring Taylor Lautner, and will likely begin shooting the film adaptation of Cassandra Clare's "Mortal Instruments" series later this year alongside "Twilight" star Jamie Campbell Bower.
