Nicole Richie to judge "Fashin Star"

Socialite Nicole Richie is all set to judge forthcoming TV series Fashion Star. The 29-year-old star, who founded clothing and accessories brands 'Winter Kate' and 'House of Harlow', will join model Elle Macpherson and singer-turned-designer Jessica Simpson on the TV show, New York Post reported.

Simpson will be a mentor, while Macpherson is hosting the show.

The show will have aspiring designers compete for a multimillion-dollar contract for their line to be carried at major retailers.

The programme, created by former NBC exec Ben Silverman's development company, Electus, which does not yet have an air date till now.
