Rocking Chemistry between Anushka and Ranveer

After wooing the audience with their performances in Band Baaja Baaraat, the hottest onscreen couple Ranveer Singh - Anushka Sharma are once again coming together with “Ladies Vs Ricky Bahl”.

We have seen their rocking chemistry many times. And in a recent interview with a magazine Anushka talked about her love – hate relationship and said, “I don’t fight with anyone as much as I fight with him. Strangely life keeps throwing us together all the time, from being in films to performing at award functions... I feel very protective about him and I am sure he feels that way about me”.

Denying the rumours about them going around, Anushka preferred to put it very differently, she said that yes we have a relationship outside of work, we do meet up regularly for dinners, watching films, etc, however we are different as people, and the chemistry you see on screen are our efforts.

We hope you guys soon see the chemistry which is visible to everyone except you.

Ranveer romances 4 hotties in Ladies Vs..

Ranveer Singh, who as Bittu in Band Baaja Baraat, had run miles away from love is now running headlong towards it. The unlikely hero of Ladies V/S Ricky Bahl is a con guy who plays the love game to perfection till he meets his match in Anushka Sharma. Prod him to confess and Ranveer
admits, “Yes, I’ve had my player phases in life too.”

And was he ever caught? “No… Never! The trick is to move forward without fear,” he laughs, adding that he was immediately excited by Adi sir’s (writer-producer Aditya Chopra) narration because the role offers him a chance to display his range as an actor.

It also gives him an opportunity to romance four lovely ladies, Anushka Sharma, Dipannita Sharma, Aditi Sharma and Parineeti Chopra. “Yeah well, but it’s all make believe,” sighs Ranveer. Even with Anushka, his once good friend? “Anushka is still a friend,” he asserts. “We speak often and when she’s required on the sets, we meet too. But ever since I started prep work on this film, it’s been all work.”

If the buzz is to be believed, his overnight success has gone to Ranveer’s head and recently, when Band Baaja Baraat premiered on television, both Anushka and he refused to promote it. “That’s not true. We spent a whole day shooting the promos. I was thrilled about the TV premiere and the simultaneous DVD and Blu-Ray release. It meant that five times more people will be watching my film. I had no reason to act difficult,” he exclaims.

In Bunty Aur Babli, also a Yash Raj production, Abhishek Bachchan played a con man too. Is Ricky anything like Bunty? “The only thing that is common between them is that both are con guys. Bunty Aur Babli is almost a cult film. Even today, whenever it comes on TV, I sit down to watch it. The director, Shaad Ali, is one of my closest friends and when the film was announced, we celebrated by not cutting a cake, but a biryani. That first-cut is special and I remember making it,” he says.
