Believe it or not, it was a matter of money!"

I am sure, you are thinking that we must be joking, but we are not! According to an insider close to Kris Jenner, Kris originally wanted a big name performer like Christina Aguilera or Jennifer Lopez to perform at the wedding, but there was one problem – she was not willing to pay!

It is said by spokesman that, "With private concerts by both of the singers costing around $1 million, but Kris Kardashian didn’t want to go with Christina Aguilera or Jennifer Lopez. For which she told friends she refused to compensate that much for their time."

Christina Aguilera to perform at MJ's tribute concert

Christina Aguilera is lending her voice to a Michael Jackson tribute concert planned for October in Wales.

Organizers of "Michael Forever - The Tribute Concert" announced that Aguilera would be joined by members of the Jackson family, Cee Lo Green, Leona Lewis and the band Alien Ant Farm, which is known for its cover of Jackson's song Smooth Criminal.

The announcement came after more than two weeks of silence about performers for the Oct. 8 show at Millennium Stadium in Cardiff, Wales.

While the event is endorsed by the singer's mother and some of his siblings, brothers Randy and Jermaine Jackson have protested its timing. The concert is scheduled during the trial of a doctor charged in Jackson's death.

The singer's estate is also not affiliated with the concert.

Beyonce battles Christina for W Cover

W Magazine’s ‘Music and Style’ issue is set to hit stands on June 21st and will portray both Beyonce and Christina Aguilera on its double cover. Music and style is two things these singers both have so we weren't surprised when they were picked for the issue.

While Knowles strikes a confident and straight-on pose, Aguilera stands in a more vulnerable state as she bares all for the camera in a more ‘artsy’ stance. Beyonce was photographed by Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott and Aguilera by Daniele Duella. The stars are going to battle it out on magazine stands in a few weeks but the covers were leaked online for the world to see today. Both the singers are looking hot and we're in a dilemma to decide who did it better.

The Maroon 5 frontman - who judges the talent show alongside Christina, Cee Lo Green and country singer Blake Shelton - insists his alleged tension with the 'Beautiful' hitmaker is purely "reality TV fodder" and their professional relationship is "fine".

Asked by US chat show host Jay Leno whether the pair get along, Adam said: "They fabricate a lot of that - a lot of that's reality television fodder.

"She's fine, we bicker like brother and sister."

Christina recently explained her role on the show - which offers a $100,000 recording contract to the eventual winner - is about providing positivity and being "completely involved" with the acts.

She said: "There is no good and bad. This isn't about tearing people down. I want to bring these people up.

"We're looking to get more involved with people starting out just like we did. We're not just making commentary and then going home. We're getting completely involved. I wish there was a show like this when I was starting. I'm ready to share it all."

Christina flashes her "G-String"

Singer Christina Aguilera was spotted flashing her G-string in see-through tights as she celebrated her inauguration into the Hollywood Gay Walk of Fame.

Aguilera, 30, and her boyfriend Matthew Rutler were at The Abbey in West Hollywood, dancing with a group of their friends.

After they left and headed over to The Sunset Strip, onlookers were flashed her G-string.

Earlier in the evening the singer had been honoured on the walk of fame, while wearing a very provocative ensemble.

Aguilera was bursting out of her lace basque, which showed off her ample cleavage and teamed the lingerie with a fifties-style suspender belt and finished the look off with a feather and lace negligee and a pair of fishnet tights.

"We're proud of Christina, who's always supported causes important to (gay) people," the Daily Mail quoted Los Angeles Gay and Lesbian Center spokesman Stevie St. John as telling RadarOnline.

"We applaud her for speaking out in favour of equality and working to support the community," he said

Christina Aguilera Arrested For Public Drunkenness

WEST HOLLYWOOD, Calif. - Fresh from a stumble at the Grammys and muffing the national anthem at the Super Bowl, singer Christina Aguilera was arrested early Tuesday near the Sunset Strip on suspicion of being drunk in public but will not be prosecuted.

Authorities said Aguilera, 30, was "extremely intoxicated" when a car driven by her boyfriend was stopped at about 2:45 a.m. on Clark Street, Los Angeles County sheriff's Deputy Bill McSweeney said Sheriff's spokesman Steve Whitmore said Aguilera

"didn't really understand where she was but was cooperative."

She was not belligerent in any way what so ever,"

Whitmore said Deputies saw the Mustang "burn rubber" and fish tail onto a street. The noise could be heard 100 feet away and constituted an "exhibition of speed" that prompted deputies to immediately stop the car, Whitmore said.

They smelled alcohol on the breath of 25-year-old Matthew Rutler, and a field sobriety test found him to have a blood-alcohol level of 0.09 percent, Whitmore said in California, a driver is legally under the influence at or above 0.08 percent. Rutler was arrested on suspicion of DUI and later released on $5,000 bail.

McSweeney said Aguilera appeared too drunk to care for herself and had no driver to take her home. She was arrested on suspicion of being drunk in public so she could be held at the West Hollywood sheriff's station, he said. Whitmore did not know how much the 5-foot-2, 100-pound Aguilera may have been drinking. She was given a breath test but the results will not be made public because she had no criminal intent and will not be prosecuted, he said. However, the misdemeanor arrest will remain on her record.

Aguilera did not ask to have anyone pick her up during the 30 to 45 minutes that deputies were at the car, Whitmore said.

"She didn't really understand where she was,"

"She said she didn't drive so she didn't even know where she lived."

Whitmore said Aguilera was booked, finger printed and put alone in a cell. She was kept there until she was able to pass another sobriety test.

"When she was able to navigate and think on her own ... she was released"

on $250 bail. Aguilera was released from the back of the station at about 7:30 a.m. , avoiding a cluster of paparazzi out front. She was driven home by an acquaintance who may have been a bodyguard, Whitmore said.

"It ends here,"

he said.

"She's home safe and sound so, you know, job accomplished."

California law allows deputies to detain intoxicated people for their own welfare until they sober up, without having any intention of prosecuting them, McSweeney said.

"You're sitting in a car drunk. You have every legal right to be there, but when we come across you we say you can't drive and we're not going to put you on the sidewalk."

Christina Aguilera Sounds Off On Lady Gaga Comparisons Says, "not even worth wasting the breath"...

Christina Aguilera plans to stop by "American Idol" in May to give fans a taste of her upcoming album Bionic, but some who have heard the first single "Not Myself Tonight" have compared the new Aguilera sound to Lady Gaga. Chritina says,

"I've been around for over a decade and I think my work speaks for myself. [When I was younger] I would have engaged, been a little upset [about the comparisons]. There's a bigger picture out there. I've got my son, my family, my work."

But this not the first time Christina spoke on this. Back in 2008, she addressed the comparisons, revealing that she didn't even know who Lady Gaga.

"You know, that's funny that you mention that. This person [Lady Gaga] was just brought to my attention not too long ago....I'm not quite sure who this person is, to be honest. I don't know if it is a man or a woman. I just wasn't sure. I really don't spend any time on the Internet, so I guess I live a little under a rock in that respect."
