In Time: Olivia Wilde plays Justin Timberlake's mother ?

Justin Timberlake and Olivia Wilde have had two of the best summers in Hollywood.

Timberlake scored major buzz for his sexy lead in "Friends With Benefits," winning over critics and fans alike, and helped "Bad Teacher" open to big numbers, too.

Wilde is the gorgeous and gritty lady star of this weekend's "Cowboys & Aliens," and will feature in next weekend's raunch fest, "The Change-Up."

Timberlake and Wilde star in the upcoming Andrew Niccol sci-fi thriller, "In Time," playing mother and son.

This makes sense in the context: The film is set in a world in which the aging gene has been halted at the age of 25, where the rich buy and trade the world's new currency, time itself, so that they stay forever young -- while the poor die at the hands of their robbed clocks.

Wilde and Timberlake, low down on the socio-economic ladder, have to fight for every minute they can; Wilde's character (Rachel Salas) gives birth to Timberlake's (Will Salas) and was able to survive until he caught up to her in age, but her time, it seems, is finally running out.

On the flip side, Will is gifted 100 years by an "old" man who no longer wants to live - setting off wild accusations. Will's escape with Sylvia Weis (Amanda Seyfried) from a corrupt 'time keepers' and his fight for survival is expected to hit theatres in time on October 28th.

Demi Lovato dating Ryan Phillippe

Demi Lovato has reportedly been dating Ryan Phillippe. The 18-year-old singer and actress is said to have been seeing 'The Lincoln Lawyer' actor in the last few months, but things cooled since he became a father with his ex-girlfriend, Alexis Knapp, two weeks ago.

A source told the E! news service: "It was really hot and heavy for a while," but added Demi wasn't aware Ryan, 36, was to become a father for the third time "until it basically happened. It kind of threw her for a loop."

Ryan - who also has two children, Ava Elizabeth, 11, and Deacon Reese, seven, with ex-wife Reece Witherspoon - was with Alexis when she gave birth to a daughter, who she has named Kai.

A spokesperson for the 21-year-old actress said, however: "She has never asked Ryan for any help, nor does she expect it."

Ryan, who dated Alexis in 2010, has been supporting her in the later stages of her pregnancy, although he is said to be waiting for the results of a paternity test to prove if he is the father.

A source said: "He is a good father, and whether this is his baby or not, he wants to do the right thing and be supportive."

Ryan also had an on/off relationship with actress Amanda Seyfried earlier this year.

The Red Riding Hood star's hemlines have been getting higher and higher since she split from her ex-boyfriend, and today's little black dress barely covered her slim behind as she walked around West Hollywood.

Famous for her porcelain complexion, the 25-year-old's alabaster skin was luminous as she flashed her long legs in the tiny frock.



  

Seyfried hasn't however seemed too heart-broken.

Just two weeks later she was spotted out again with ex-boyfriend Dominic Cooper whom she had dated from 2008 to 2010.

Seyfried and Cooper, 32, met on the set of Mamma Mia in 2008 and dated for the next two years.

Now the former love birds seem to be back reunited as they went shopping together in Beverly Hills last weekend.

Ryan Philippe single again

Actor Ryan Phillippe is apparently single again after reports of his break-up with girlfriend Amanda Seyfried surfaced.

Phillippe and the Mamma Mia star, who first met at friend Kate Hudson's Halloween bash last year, have ended their seven-month romance, reports dailystar.co.uk.

"It was mutual. They were never fully committed. They were always on and off. There's no bad blood. They're cool," said a source.

The duo's relationship first hit a rough patch in March when reports surfaced that Phillippe had fathered an unborn baby with his ex-girlfriend, model Alexis Knapp.
