Would it be Amala for Dhanush's next ?

It has been reported that Aishwarya Dhanush will be debuting into Tamil cinema as director.

Mrs. Dhanush had worked as an associate for director Selvaraghavan in the making of his Tamil fantasy-adventure film 'Aayirathil Oruvan (2010)'. She is even believed to have penned the script for this upcoming film that will see hubby and National Award winner Dhanush in the lead.

While there has been a lot of talks regarding whom the couple will choose as Dhanush's heroine, there were reports that Shruthi Haasan might bag the offer. But as reported Shruthi Haasan has shunned the project due to lack of dates for the film, she has more than a couple of projects in the pipeline in Telugu.

Now reports are rife that the latest sensation in Tamil cinema, Amala Paul, might be roped in for the heroine's slot in this Aishwarya Dhanush film!

Though nothing is confirmed, Amala Paul did express to a media house that she was approached for this film but she can't reveal anything further on this front.

Amala Paul, who has made a good show at the box-office with 'Mynaa' first and recently with 'Deiva Thirumagal' seems to be drowned with good offers. This Aishwarya Dhanush project is in the pre-production stages. The couple might soon decide on a tentative date to reveal more about their upcoming film to the media, we hope.

Dhanush is now busy shooting for his brother Selvaraghavan's 'Irandam Ulagam' with Richa Gangopadhyay as the female lead.

Shruti Haasan confirms about her project with Dhanush

Shruti Haasan has said that she was approached by Aishwarya Dhanush to play the female lead in the film that is to be directed by her.

Shruti revealed that she was excited about sharing the screen space with The National Award Winner Dhanush but unfortunately her dates did not match up with their requirements.

Since Shruti has a couple of projects that needs her attention at the moment, she could not sign up the Dhanush starrer to be directed by Aishwarya.

Shruti, however wished the entire team all the very best and therefore confirmed that she will not be a part of the film.

Dhanush's announcement on his Birthday!

Dhanush turned 28 today on the 28th of July and has made a very important announcement about his next project that kick started the same day.

Dhanush’s wife Aishwarya will be wielding the megaphone for the first time and the national award winning star will be directed by his wife.

Excited about this new film, Dhanush has said that all the details such as the title, star cast and crew will be disclosed shortly.

Apart from this film, Dhanush has the tentatively titled Irandam Ulagam, which is directed by his brother Selvaraghavan. The movie is now in its final stages, he revealed.
