‘Aathma’ is India’s first new wave 3D stereo scopic movie and will be hitting big screens this May! The movie will be simultaneously releasing in Tamil, Hindi and Telugu. Prior to this, these technologies were used in James Cameron’s ‘Avatar’ – a movie that made waves internationally.
Ace director Vikram Bhatt is directing ‘Aathma,’ a 3D horror flick. Vikram Bhatt already has three horror Bollywood flicks to his credit, ‘Raaz,’ ‘1920’ and ‘Shaapit.’ All these movies have acted as trendsetters for horror films in the industry!
Needless to say, a combination of horror and 3D will be a perfect entertainer this summer. Speaking to the media, Vikram Bhatt expressed, “Horror by itself is scary, and ‘Aathma’ will definitely be a nerve-chilling experience.”
The hero, Rehan, visits Dalhousie, the Glen Manor that his father had initiated for sale and has come to a standstill. Rehan unearths the mysteries and miseries of the past and present in the Glen Manor, and wants to free the house of the spirit that is taking hold of the house. While doing so, Rehan comes across Meera’s picture and wonders how anyone can ever fall in love with a picture? But he does fall in love with it and this turns out to be only a bigger challenge for him, for the picture and Meera are the reasons of why the house is haunted!
Looks like there’s a lot to look forward to from ‘Aathma,’ in terms of the script and the technology never seen by Indian audiences!
